Friendly and helpful host Amazing Sri Lankan breakfast

Access road gets very muddy during rain, troublesome for vehicles

The host was meeting us friendly and helpful and truly wanted us to have a pleasant stay. Breakfast provides 2 options - western or Sri Lankan - the western style breakfast is fine but the Sri Lankan is amazing and a good way to submerge yourself into Sri Lanka. Top floor has a perfect view of Sigiriya Rock.

Very peaceful and with a nice view of Lion Rock. Comfortable room with good AC and ceiling fan. Excellent breakfast, very tasty home cooked food. But the best of all was the host family, who were very friendly and accommodating, even with extra things like transportation and early breakfast (for those sunrise hikes).

The location, although peaceful, was a bit of a walk inside the jungle, we only used rented motorbike and tuk-tuk because walking wouldn’t be very fun, especially at night. The bathroom was a bit stuffy, but everything worked and we had hot water. Wi-Fi was not very good but perfectly acceptable.

Very friendly staff

To basic hotel for that price compared to other Sri Lankan Hotels i have stayed, basic breakfast.

perfect place to stay a night in Sigiriya. The staff was very friendly.

I was maybe a little to tall for the bed. other then that nothing to complain.

The rooftop restaurant and the first floor chill out area offer stunning views of the Lion Rock. Rooms are simple, but spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The hosts Nuwan and Sandumi are very friendly and welcoming and made us a lovely breakfast at 7 am for an early ascent to Lion Rock.

The rooms were clean and fresh. The Owner did everything to make our stay perfect and solved every Problem of us at the second we asked him.

Very sweet owner Comfy guest house outside of town so feels as if in middle of the jungle.

10-15 min walk to the main street with restaurants

the location is nice, nice views to the lion rock. couple managing it is very lovely.

Room was okay, loads of power cuts but that’s to be expected in Sri Lanka. Wifi was good when it was working, which was half of the time. The bathroom is absolutely horrendous, it smelled very bad and had not cleaned at all. Only had half a toilet roll. Overall I did like the place but the bathroom kind of ruined our stay there.

Good location for visiting Sigiriya Clean enough. Good breakfast. Mosquito nets.

Smelled very damp There were a lot of mosquitos in the room (so thankful for the mosquito net) Wifi didn't work in the room, had to stand near the lobby.

great location, nicest persons working here. tasty breakfast & location for this breakfast. I could not imagine better place for your time in Sigeria! very good price for staying in such a beautiful place, furniture is new, you can even enjoy modern design here!

Administration was so friendly, nice cozy hotel with lion rock view. Very comfortable public space.

Great owners but been woke up very early as my room was under their balcony

clean, big space, comfy bed, beautiful view! a very calm and authentic place and ypu can see the rock from the reataurant!

The staff, a couple, are really kind people, and the room was exactly the same as in the pictures. We had a very calm, relaxing stay here, and thankfully didn't come across any frogs or such creatures associated with the location, at least on the first floor. And of course, the view of the Sigiriya rock! You can see it best from the restaurant on the topmost floor.

The WiFi didn't work.

Clean and big rooms. Hosts were really nice. They cooked some great meals for us. You also get a nice view of the rock from the dining area on the 2nd floor. Great stay

The location is a little off from the main road. So it might be difficult to go the market/restaurants if you want to in the evening. The wifi also needs to be better. Otherwise all good

Very new and comfortable structure in a warm and welcoming family atmosphere

The place and the host were extremely lovely and kind. They coordinated with our driver and had let him stay and provided him food as well for free of charge .They offered us to provide dinner in a very short term notice.Not to mention, the food was very lovely. We spent two nights here, we got food for different people at different times. You also have room service. You don’t require an alarm to wake you up , you would be waken up by the sounds of peacock from the tree just outside your room. The place has a beautiful garden with huge trees and a swing in the ground floor, while the first floor has a lounge area with a lot of books. You could peacefully spend time here looking at the peacocks and the Sigriya rock. We never had time for this, but wish I could have stayed here for a longer time. The Sigriya rock fort is walkable from here, so highly recommended for anyone who wants to visit Sigriya. All your needs will be accommodated here by the host family. Lovely place
