Welcome to BlueTideVillas! This is a VERY spacious (950+ square feet), newly renovated and decorated, 1BR/1BA ocean view condominium with a private lanai to sit on and enjoy your favorite tropical drink. This is one of the BEST located condos in the Kahala complex and sits on the coveted greenbelt leaving just a few minute walk between you and the beach! Poipu Beach is Kauai's most desirable area and was recently rated the #1 beach in all of America. My unit is among one of the biggest one-bedroom condominiums you'll find in Poipu! The unit's size and internal layout provides spacious comfort for as many as 4, (additional space for small children) but can also work well and is priced perfectly for couples. The condo is also professionally decorated by an island expert! We recently purchased all new furniture, linens, queen-size sleeper sofa, all new kitchen supplies, beach toys, artwork and decorations. With the new furniture and remodel, this unit is essentially brand new. The floor plan is all contained on the second floor with no interior stairs. (There are stairs leading up into the unit - no elevators). High-speed wireless internet is available to stay connected should you choose to. Optional Air Conditioners (an additional $120 / week located in the family room and bedroom) will provide an icy cool-off in the bedroom after a full day under the sun. Extra sleeping is available on the brand new pullout queen size couch. All beach stuff included! Chairs, floaties, coolers, boogie boards... we have it all! From the lanai, you're only steps away from the impeccably maintained grounds, pool, spa, barbecue, tennis courts, and other entertainment areas. The Kahala resort is in the center of the Poipu golf world and is within walking distance from Poipu Bay (former site of the Grand Slam). Kahala contains its own tennis facility and is under a 3-minute walk to Brennecke's Beach and a few minutes further to Poipu Beach. Fantastic experience. Condo is as advertised in the pictures and located in the heart of Poipu. Easy walking distance to two beaches including Poipu Beach where you can watch Hawaiian Green turtles come ashore around 6:00 pm each evening. Condo is clean and well stocked with all the essentials and more! This includes beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers for drinks as well as more for those with young kids. Everything you need for heading to Kauai’s plethora of beaches! We did not opt for the portable air conditioning units as the ceiling fans and window venting along with the trade winds kept it cool enough for us. We would definitely like to stay here again as Kauai has risen to our favorite Hawaiian island!

This condo is in prime location. It’s within walking distance to beaches, bars, the pool and tennis courts right outside. We arrived after sunset and the check in process was very easy. The property was clean and had everything we needed including beach toys and furniture. We added on the AC units and they were life saving! Thank you for having us and we’d love to come back.

This was a our first VRBO and our stay was great. The condo has a nice location on the island and on the property; just a short walk to the beach. We have a 4 and 6 year old that everything worked out well for. Condo was well equipped, furniture was comfy, place was clean. Property management was responsive. Information provided from owners was excellent. AC units were definitely needed for us during our stay. The room for improvement for us (because I am a light sleeper and for better sleep) was that the bedroom could use black out curtains for the windows and the AC units get loud even on sleep mode. Overall, happy with our stay.

This was our first time in Kauai and are so glad we chose to stay in Poipu at this property. This place has everything we needed to make our stay perfect- amazing balcony view, close to the beaches, easy access to the major routes, clean unit, pool right outside, and close to amazing restaurants/food trucks and local shops. Poipu was definitely the part of the island where the sun shines more consistently. The property had three boogie boards, sand toys, two coolers, two umbrellas and four beach chairs which came into use every single day as we always wound up at the beach after a hike. Brennecke's Beach is a five or so minute walk and is one of the best for boogie boarding. Poipu Beach park is definitely for younger families with calmer water where you can snorkel and see turtles everyday.
The kitchen was stocked with a good variety of cookware and tupperware. The property manager, Surrey, was so responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She even looked for my son's stuffy he left behind. We did have a minor maintenance issue that was rectified quickly and did not interrupt our vacation schedule. As mentioned by other travelers, we did not need the a/c at all. Kauai is known for its tradewinds and quickly cools the unit when the windows/doors are open.
I will miss having coffee on the lanai and hearing the birds and roosters at sunrise. We can't wait to return to the most beautiful Hawaiian island!

We stayed for a week and the unit was clean and well stocked. The furnishings were more than adequate and generally in good condition. The availability of beach equipment (chairs, cooler, etc.) was a plus.

We had a fabulous two week stay in this condo. It was clean, well maintained and had keyless entry. The bedroom furniture was new and the bed was very comfortable, with a large assortment of pillows. Lovely cooling breezes flow through the unit. We cooked the majority of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. The lanai is perfect for meals, lounging and sunsets.
The Kahala is central to many adventures whether driving or walking. The property manager was very responsive when contacted, responding within minutes and assisted in resolving the issue. We have already booked again for next year.

Beautiful stay here in gorgeous Kauai! Here for a conference down the green belt at the Grand Hyatt and this location was perfect and only a short 10 minute walk away. Condo was very clean and accommodating. Has all the needed amenities to compliment your stay. We did not opt to have the air conditioning units set up and only a few mid to late afternoons with the sun bearing down on the porch windows did we think twice about it. Otherwise it was perfect! Lots to see and do around Kauai. We really appreciated the binder of information about preferred activities and restaurants. Thank you for such welcoming accommodations and for making our trip such a great experience!

Condo is roughly 150 yards from Brennecke Beach in a compound with two pools, 5-6 tennis courts, and one of the islands most popular bars 40 yards away. The property manager responded to our requests within 24 hours and check in and check out went smoothly.

We had a great week at this condo. The view from the lanai is spectacular. My wife and I sat out there every morning to enjoy our breakfast, and we ate dinner there as a family every night. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We slept very well all week. The AC units do a great job of keeping the place cool when we used them, but honestly of all the places we've stayed during our multiple trips to various Hawaiian islands, this one may have had the best airflow. The trade winds come right through the front door and out the lanai, so being hot was never really a problem the entire time we were there. The condo is well equipped. We cooked all but a few of our meals there. We also used the beach chairs and boogie boards a couple of times. Whether you want a home base to use while you explore the island, or you just want to relax and enjoy Poipu, this place is an excellent option. Our kids especially loved Brennecke's Beach (5 minute walk) and the pool/jacuzzi (1 minute walk) Communication with the host was fast and clear.
We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this condo for a few days near the end of our trip to Kauai. The property manager was very helpful. Great location - easy walk to Poipu Beach for snorkeling and seeing sea turtles on the shore. Really nice to have beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a wagon to use with the kids. Washer/dryer is always great for a beach vacation for kids. Would stay here again!

View of the beach and ocean is wonderful. Sunsets as well. Very convenient as it is just a few minutes walk to one of the best beaches on Kauai. The owners provided everything for daily life inside (cooking, laundry, etc) and anything you would need for a day at the beach.
We also enjoyed the pool.
Highly recommend staying here.

This property has everything you could imagine and more. We had a great and comfortable stay! Gorgeous location closed to everything on the south side of Kauai. Beach wagon and play pen was a great bonus with our 8 month old. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

I would HIGHLY recommend adding the portable air conditioning units, especially in the summer. They kept the condo perfectly cool and comfortable during our stay. The kitchen has all the utensils and glasses you might need. Please note that the parking spot is not directly in front of the unit. It's not far down at all, but it might be confusing if you arrive at night. The property manager and owner made everything smooth from start to finish, and we would love to come back and stay again!

Great Condo
Condo was a perfect vacation rental. Very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. Communication was on point and very quick to respond. About a five minute walk to the beach, can’t beat the location. Would stay again in the future.

The location is wonderful - we enjoyed the walk to the beach, and it was a great home base as we explored the south, west and east sides of the island (we had stayed up north in Princeville before this). Communication was great, though we didn't need to reach out at all once we were there, we had everything we needed, and all questions answered. We really appreciated the beach supplies - wagon, chairs, umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, sand toys. It was also awesome being right next to the pool/hot tub, and the pool area and grounds always seemed very clean. Some construction next door that we heard a little while at the pool, but it really didn't impact us negatively at all. We never ended up using the air conditioners - the breeze kept us comfortable - so it was hard to justify paying for them, but if you want a break from the humidity, and the opportunity to close windows at night, they'd be helpful. Overall, this was a perfect choice for our vacation.

My wife and I had a great stay at this place! Great location with beaches, stores, and restaurants all within a walkable distance. Nice and clean, easy check in / out process, designated parking spot, full kitchen. A/C units were an extra charge, but worth it and did a great job keeping the house nice and cool.
