Situated in Big Bear, this charming house for $356 per night is a great option for your next vacation. A rustic lodge setting with the comfortable feeling of your own home, Running Bear welcomes you the moment you walk through the door. This home is located in a quiet court, nestled in the pines, in one of Big Bear’s most sought after neighborhoods. Even better, it’s only minutes away from Snow Summit Resort. A beautifully landscaped yard surrounds the house with its natural wood siding and brick columns adding to the mountain cabin feel on a much higher level. The kids will enjoy escaping into the tree house located in the fenced backyard while the adults soak in the outdoor hot tub! Able to sleep up to thirteen, this five bedroom, two and a half bathroom home with native yet western woodsy decor, accommodates a large family with all needed amenities. Wooden walls, Aztec patterns and fur rugs add warmth and coziness to a very spacious area. A fully equipped kitchen offers a large refrigerator paneled with pine, matching the much desired cabinet and counter space, along with a center island to prepare meals for several people. The family room circles a rock wood burning fireplace where you can snuggle up, share stories or just relax and watch TV. Upstairs you can take in the amazing views while enjoying a game of bumper pool/poker table and a game of pool on a regular seven foot pool table, or relax at your own bar and enjoy a movie on the flat screen. The master bedroom speaks for itself when you enter the room. With a fireplace, his and her restrooms, double sided entry, glass shower and a “claw footed” tub. This room feels like a small cabin on it’s own, on the opposite side of the home from the other bedrooms to ensure privacy. Enjoy the mountains surroundings and beauty from the large deck, fenced backyard or while cooking on the natural gas barbeque. Tucked in the corner, among the trees possibly catching a glimpse of a Running Bear! This property includes a noise alert monitoring system inside and outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). There is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house. Removing the decibel monitor and/or security cameras will result in a full security deposit loss. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED. No parking in street or yard Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign. No amplified music 24/7 Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line. Head inside at 10:00 p.m. Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Take trash to dumpster locations Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations: 41790 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd. Fines The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation. Eviction Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned. Note: Tenant must supply their own propane tank for the outdoor heater at their own cost. This big bear cabin is perfect for guests who value newer construction or completely remodeled homes with tasteful interior design. Enjoy a pleasing modern or cabin themed decor, newer furniture and updated fixtures and appliances. DO NOT MOVE THE POOL TABLE! IF YOU MOVE THE POOL TABLE, your full deposit will be forfeited and any amounts over that for additional repairs.

We had a great Thanksgiving stay here with 7 adults and 8 kids. The kids loved the pool and poker tables upstairs. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. We really appreciated all the pans, bowls, utensils etc. that the kitchen is stocked with. We did have to go to the store for some basics, such as salt and pepper, dish towels, coffee filters, and paper towels for the week. The upstairs bedroom mattress was comfortable but the downstairs mattresses were really firm and not as comfortable (I believe the bunk beds were fine). This house is a great location, a few hundred yards to Snow Summit. The hot tub worked great. I think we used it 2-3 times during the week and never had a problem. This house has a big garage and driveway which are nice since you can't park on the street. Master bedroom has a huge shower, separate bathtub, and his/hers toilets. Very luxurious. The upstairs bathroom did not have a working lock, however. Ultimately our family had a wonderful time here!

Over all, it is okay. The place is relatively clean. Internet is good. The cons: It has three car garrage but there is a small boat trailer occupied parking space. Some of the TVs need to be replaced because of picture quality.
The small bedroom to the right of laundry room has an odor of stagment air which can come from the mattress.

Our 4 families had a wonderful time at this house and in Big Bear. It was well maintained, well stocked, great back yard for kids, safe street with very few others around and simply beautiful. Can't wait to book next year.

We had a wonderful time at this Big Bear Lake home. There are two main living rooms for the children and adults to enjoy. The pool table in the loft was great fun for everyone. As the cook in the house I would say that the kitchen was very well stocked. Although I am glad that I brought my own casserole dishes. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels.
We had a great time in the village and at the alpine slide park. Even though there was plenty to do around the lake the kids still wanted to be back at the house playing. The back yard is huge and beautiful. We enjoyed morning coffee and dinners on the very large back patio. Perfect place for a getaway for all ages.

What a wonderful Fall getaway. This home is beautiful and welcoming for all ages. There is so much to do. We had fires going in both beautiful fireplaces and both TV's broadcasting different games. What a wonderful Fall getaway. This home is beautiful and welcoming for all ages. There is so much to do. We had fires going in both beautiful fireplaces and both TV's broadcasting different games. Wonderful and Very Enjoyable
My family and I rented this cabin for a quick getaway from the city. We enjoyed our stay. Size size house with plenty of space for everyone. Really enjoyed the game room and bar area. The back yard was perfect for our kids and BBQing. My husband and I loved the master bathroom as we each had our own separate toilets and sinks made sharing a bathroom quite nice since we don't have that luxury at home LOL. The staff at Destination Big Bear are very friendly and provide great customer service. We did have a small problem with ants in the kitchen and they sent someone out within 15 mins to spray. I will use this company again for future stays.

We love Big Bear!
A big group of us stayed at a Destination Big Bear property last weekend and we were all so wonderfully pleased with the service and quality of cabin we received!
First of all, the booking process was very easy and straight forward. I felt like everything that was stated on the website during our search was an exact reflection of the final cost. We ended up staying in Running Bear and it was pleasantly clean and cozy. They had everything we could've wanted in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house was cleaned very thoroughly and all the girls in the cabin were extremely picky about small details and none of us had any complaints! The master bedroom was spacious and so were the other bedrooms. We did run out of clean towels but Destination Big Bear were there within 30 minutes with a clean set. I'd definitely recommend Destination Big Bear to anyone!
