I'm personally grateful to a member of the Staff, who took time and trouble to help me find a dear friend when my minimal Greek ran out. She was terrific and made a real contribution to my life! I'm grateful, Phillipia!
As a New Yorker, I'm used to this, but the hotel is right on the edge of a slightly "dodgy" area in Athens. It's perfectly safe, I think, but one might want to keep their wits about them, especially at night.

Good price-quality, very nice staff (they let us to eat breakfast before the opening hours, etc…)
We afraid about the district, but nothing special… not the best streets of Athen, but you can enjoy it, novody eill harm and disturb on the streets.
