Es war eine fantastische Erfahrung und Reise.

Die Lage war top und das Ambiente sehr schön im älteren-Altstadt-Stil. Es war immer gut zu erreichen und es hatte gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Bett war Bequem.

Das Bad sah zwar schön aus, aber bei der Dusche floss das Wasser raus und es war überall nass. Auch das WC hatte Probleme, da nach dem Spülen das Wasser manchmal weiter lief und auch das Bad nässte. In der Nacht war es sehr Kalt und man war nicht genug geschützt, da die Decke sehr dünn war. Es hatte zwar eine dickere Decke auf dem Bett, aber das war nur die Abdeckung, welche nicht gewaschen war.

It was really pretty, and the woman that helped us was very nice and gave us recommendations on where to eat and more, which was very helpful. The location is perfect, it was very easy to get to all the places we wanted to go.

Lovely place to stay in an excellent location

Great location, very central and close to many points of interest and food places. Room was well furnished. Whole apartment was full of character and a nice place to stay. Our host was lovely and kept in touch to help us at all times. We would book again next time we visit Rome.

overall our stay at boutique grifone was great! I would recommend it to friends going to Rome

The property was very well located, right in the center of Rome, close to the coliseum and close to several restaurants

The bathroom was separate from the room and the bedroom we stayed at had twins bed (not couple). We knew that, but just saying to make sure everyone knows

Excellent room, excellent location, clean and welcoming! Would highly recommend!

Great location in Monti, minutes walk from excellent dining and bars and just up the street from the Colosseum. Small but quiet room in a two-unit apartment. The host, Sandra, couldn’t meet us on-site but was very responsive over text and check-in was very simple. A/C in the room — bathroom was basic with hot water. Bag storage was available after 10 am check out. Common area is well appointed although we didn’t use it much.

Room arrangement is slightly awkward with doors feet away— we had a private bath, but the other room had a bathroom in the shared hallway. Host was unavailable during check-in for walkthrough. Understand there was an emergency she had to attend to, but it’s usually a nice touch. We were OK communicating by text but some travelers may disagree.

Very enjoyable stay, wonderful hosts, best location

Sandra and her husband were fantastic hosts, very kind and welcoming, couldn’t have asked for better. Sandra was ready to greet us on arrival and answered any questions and offered advice about touring Rome, ticket prices and booked a taxi to take us to the airport after departure. The property was very clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped with any we would need if we needed to cook. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom had plenty storage space. The apartment was very well decorated with lots of books, ornaments and furniture. The property also felt very authentic and quintessentially Roman.

I didn’t have any noteworthy complaints about the property.

Exceptional

Sandra as a host was great :) The room and bathroom were clean and kitchen has everything you need. And the great thing is that everywhere you need and want to go in Rome is close by walking distance and that is the big strength of this place :)

Very central and spacious, but with drawbacks

Fantastic location, extremely central and very spacious apartment. Hosts Jean and Sandra were extremely welcoming and approachable, Jean's recommendations for places for food were really appreciated! Address was very easy to find and the host met us directly at the address to give us the keys, very easy check in and check out.

WiFi is a big issue, would not be suitable if you were planning to work remotely like we were. There is also very poor mobile data coverage in the apartment, so 4g/5g was also not possible. Apartment is general is quite dark and it can be quite noisy from the neighbours and the street, as the windows do not insulate the sound. We also found the apartment quite cold, despite the heating being on a daily timer. What was also not pleasant was the off-putting sewage smell coming from the bathroom.

Extraordinary. Like home. Very helpfull people, especially Sandra. Clean and comfort room. Kitchen with everything we needed. New Year surprises from host with good wine. Great location.

great localisation, comfortable room with a bathroom, shared kitchen and living space with all necessary equipment to make ourselves breakfast or dinner, long list of recommended places prepared for better enjoyment of Rome & Sandra - the nicest host we could have. we recommend it wholeheartedly.

no issues whatsoever. it is a historical building with its characteristics - but for us it was a plus, not a problem :)

Other guests were far too noisy. Wish there had been some notice to respect the privacy of all by establishing quiet hours.

Outstanding beautiful apartment in the centre of Rome

Beautiful decor, very clean, comfortable, fantastic location. 10 min walk from station and 7 min walk to coleseum. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great restaurants and bars near by and 10 min walk to most attractions. We walked everywhere no need for taxi or bus. Very friendly and safe district. Very quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Lovely shower. Outstanding

Beautiful rooms, five minutes walk from the Colosseum

Our stay was great! We met our host Sandra at arrival (she kindly waited for us, even though our bus was late) and she was super nice, she explained everything and told us to contact her straight away if we needed anything. The house is at a five-minute walk from the Colosseum, and it's super comfortable. You'll find everything you need: our apartment had a beautiful room and a big bathroom, a nice kitchen and living room we could use at any time, and it was just perfect. We'll visit again for sure!

Cute old house in a student quarter

Boutique Grifone is located in small square at what one could describe as a Bohemian student part of the city. The apartment is quite large, and the kitchen has everything you might need - from deodorants, kitchenware, and iron and even bug sprays... The bathroom has a blow-dryer as well... Sandra is also very nice and helpful.

Really pleased we decided to stay here :-) Would definitely recommend it.

Sandra, the host, was easily contactable, very friendly and approachable. She was quick to respond to any queries before our arrival and had lots of advice and suggestions about the area. The building was quiet, safe and clean. Great to have a lively area so close by. Fantastic location.

For a 4-night stay, I couldn't fault it. If staying longer, it would have been nice to have a balcony, but the apartment was a good size, good facilities, really nicely decorated.

Wonderful place in the Monti neighborhood close to the colosseum and most other sights in Rome. Place was very clean and comfortable and Sandra was super helpful and communicative. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Rome.

Perfect stay in Rome!

Really good location in a cool part of Rome. The house was really nicely decorated and clean and welcoming. you’ve got everything you need there! great Pasta place just around the corner!

Nothing not to like - the stay was great. The only thing to consider is that you may have booked 1 bedroom within the apartment - there is another room with guests in the apartment - you don’t have apartment to yourself. But we didn’t see the other guests at all so it doesn’t really matter, you’ll be out enjoying Rome anyway!
