This was my second stay at this Hostel.
It's an easy walk the Rome Terminus rail station. From there you can get the Hop-On-Hop-Off busses, Metro and city/airport transfer buses. There were a number of good cafes close by.
The beds were comfortable enough considering it’s a hostel at A$150 per night close to Rome Central.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and common areas were clean.
The 4-berth room was a bit cramped and there was nowhere to hang a towel or sit down to put your shoes on. If you were allocated the top bunk you had to sit on someone else’s bed. A couple of stools and a few hooks on the wall are needed.
The Wi-Fi was a little intermittent at time and only available in the foyer.

The reception staff were friendly, and the room was very reasonably priced.
I wanted to buy coffee from the reception, but the staff member wouldn't sell it to me; aside from that, there were no issues, but this is a shortcoming for a hotel.

While the amenities are quite basic, I appreciated the availability of free Wi-Fi and found some of the staff members to be polite and accommodating. It serves as a straightforward, no-frills base if you only need a simple place to sleep while exploring Rome.
The overall value felt lacking compared to similarly priced European hostels, especially given the single-item breakfast and the extra daily charges for fresh towels and room cleaning. I also felt the standard of hygiene needed improvement, particularly concerning the cleanliness of the shared kitchen, utensils, and tap water access. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection in the room was quite slow, and the general approach to hospitality felt a bit too casual for my preference.
