Mitten im Leben von Barcelona

Wir sind schon mehrfach in diesem Hotel gewesen und finden es immer wieder schön. Kein Luxushotel. Aber alles was man braucht ist da und es hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück, Snacks und Getränke sind den ganzen Tag verfügbar und im Preis enthalten. Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Es könnte etwas mehr Ablagefläche im Schrank geben.

A parte ripeto la posizione che giudico invidiabile, il rapporto qualità/prezzo non soddisfa affatto

Sicuramente la posizione è invidiabile, a due passi dalla fermata metrò Plaça de Catalunya. Ho prenotato per una camera superior che però di "superior" non aveva nulla, tra l'altro attaccata alla reception ed alla zona consumazione con tutti i disagi del caso. Francamente mi sarei aspettato di più. In merito alla colazione, classica colazione internazionale, nulla di particolarmente attraente.

Come già detto la collocazione della stanza molto infelice, pavimenti con mouquette da tutte la parti, francamente poco igienica. Bagno discreto, ancorchè pulito

It was a place to stay

Location was good. Desk staff was good. The breakfast was good.

The room was small and there was no storage. We could not get the AC to work. The room was dirty.

Barcelona gern wieder aber in einem anderen Hotel

Die Lage ist wirklich das einzige was uns an diesem Hotel gefallen hat. In dem Haus befinden sich 3 verschiedene Hotels / Pensionen. Schon das Treppenhaus war ein Kulturschock

Frühstück war sehr mager, der frisch gemahlene Kaffee hat geschmeckt, dies war’s aber auch. Eine richtige Küche hat das Hotel nicht, dass 24 Stundenangebot haben wir nicht essen wollen ( außer Wasser ), es war einfach aus der Dose bzw. Tiefkühltruhe und aufgetaut. Einmal habe ich früh gesehen, wie Kartoffeln frisch geschält wurden. Es ist ne nette Idee, aber mehr auch nicht.

The breakfast was mediocre.

The actual photos are different from the photos shown on the internet. 2 or 3 floors of a building belong to the hotel. Upstairs is the Hostel. But in the photos it looks as if the building belongs to the hotel. The entrance of the hotel is very bad. When my son was wiped out, they cut 50€ for his paints. I definitely don't plan on going again.

Excellent location and view, although it was in the centre of placa catalunya it was very quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great location and friendly staff

The location is superb. Everything at your doorstep. Nice and quiet still at nighttime. We loved to sit on our balcony with a drink and watch the world pass by. The 24 hr food service area was such a great idea. It even included alcohol. The staff greet you with a smile every time and are so helpful. A big thank you to Vivienne who always made time to chat to us. We wish you all the best. Thank you Hotel Continental ❤️

Exceptional

This is the best hotel we have stayed at. Excellent location, very handy to walk to shops, restaurants and hop on hop off bus. Staff Excellent especially the young ladies on our arrival who carries our heavy suitcases to our room with ease. Excellent balcony view for breakfast and evening. Free wine and beer and juice throughout the say. Hood choice of breakfast and then in the evening there was light meal available that included things like salad and meatballs also free. So all your food could be free for your visit to Barcrlona if you chose. Bedroom was beautiful and also bathroom

Nothing really.. if I was going to suggest anything a kettle in the room and coffee sachets etc. But fresh coffee available downstairs if you throw dressing gown on.

The location couldn’t be better, we walked to all the main sites and there are tons of restaurants and bars around. very close to gothic quarter, the market and 10 minute walk to marina!

The 24 hour buffet/ beverage bar was a huge bonus! Location could not have been better. Easy access to tour busses, shopping, trains, and restaurants. Friendly helpful staff.

Very good localisation!! Very nice and qualified stuff. Nice room. Everywhere is so close, in the midle of centre.

very barren food, everyday the same greasy sausage, very little vegetables, several types of bread, a hard-boiled egg, a piece of tomato and several types of jams and... that is unfortunately all..

Excellent stay with great facilities, would book direct and stay again.

Having a 24 hour buffet & drink facility was an added bonus. Location, breakfast and room were excellent. We had a balcony room which overlooked La Rambla.

Only downside was that we could hear very plainly that people were talking in the corridor outside our room. I had to check to make sure that the door was closed!

Where it is situated - staff - clean rooms

They provide 2 mugs and 2 glasses for wine etc. We didnt know we could get free down stairs and it would be sooo helpful if they had tea coffee in room. It was very warm in the room so we had to have fan and air con on but its lts to one speed for both first night we couldnt sleep at all. Hotel frontage from the street we wondered what on earth we were walking into - just needs to be a bit brighter and lights mended

excellent location, easy to access points of interest. room had a vice street view balcony, bed was comfy, the 24 hr buffet had good and varied food, excellent coffee machines and beer on tap.

Great location!

Amazing location on La Rambla and next to a metro station! Reception staff were very helpful and our room was very clean.

Breakfast was a little limited if you prefer hot food but the free 24 hour buffet/drinks makes up for that!
