Located in the center of the eternal city, in a quiet cobblestone alley of the historical and lively Trastevere area. This recently renovated apartment combines the classic roman charm of the original roof beams with the modern style of furnishing. This is an ideal home to experience a great stay in the capital of Italy. This enchanting apartment is located on the ground floor of a typical XIX century building. It enjoys a private entrance in a reserved alley. This allows you to spend a quiet night while living in Trastevere, one of the most vibrant area of Rome's city center. This comfortable and fully renovated suite welcomes guests that will feel immediately homey thanks to its warm atmosphere. The apartment with modern furnitures has all comforts you may wish to enjoy your stay: Plasma TV, Smart TV, free WiFi, open kitchen fully equipped with electric cookers, frigobar, coffee machine and microwave oven. The Bedroom has a king size bed with direct access to the very spacious bathroom with mixed jet shower and two window that overlooking a private internal courtyard. It is perfect for 2 or 3 people as the living room is equipped with a cozy sofa-bed, where you can have a good rest in the night or relaxing while reading a book daytime. The house is located in the heart of Trastevere, the picturesque medieval district located on the west bank of the Tiber. Part of the historic center of Rome is the perfect place to catch a glimpse of the old world while enjoying the today life of Romans people. A few blocks from the apartment you can find the open air market in Piazza San Cosimato where the stands display a rich range of fruit and vegetables, Piazza Trilussa the most popular meeting place in the area and many other alleys where you can take a break for a drink or eat the good food of Roman cuisine. If you want to take public transport, the area is extremely well served by buses or the Tram such as number 8 or H to Termini station or many others in the direction of the city center. Our stop is "Piazza Sonnino". Equidistant from the Colosseum and the Vatican, our accomodation is the ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome. San Pietro and the Vatican city are about twenty minutes by walk and crossing the Tevere from the Garibaldi Bridge you get to Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, the Roman Forum, Colosseum and many other attractions by walking in a maximum of 15-30 minutes.

Great location for our first visit to Rome. The Vatican and Colosseum are both within walking distance. Many good restaurants in the neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Our checkin process was smooth and the location of the property is great. The apartment is cute as well. However it could have been cleaner. Also the towels and bed linens were worn out and need to be replaced. Mattress is old and stiff and needs to be replaced. There were no sheets on the bed. There was very little hot water in the shower (2-3 minutes at most). A decent stay but it could have been better. Also Rome is amazing.

The property was exactly as shown on the listing. It was super clean, comfortable, and the location was amazing.
The neighborhood is perfect and close to everything in Rome. We were able to walk to the Pantheon and Colosseum in 20 minutes. And the best gelato place is within feet from the front door, a wine bar within two minutes and lots of churches to sightsee all in the neighborhood.
Stefan was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. He made the check-in process easy. If you have a chance, we highly recommend and will be staying there again.

Stefano's apartment was absolutely perfect for the two of us. We had everything we needed plus more for a very comfortable stay. You are just steps from the best restaurants in Rome, all at reasonable prices. Whatever you want is literally steps from your front door: gelato. cappuccino, street food, fine dining, the best pasta and pizza and baked goods, Foodies Rejoice! Stefano goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable, and he personally met us to give us a brief orientation to the apartment and the area. He is available to communicate with before and during your stay, You can WALK every where from this charming apartment. The area
(TRASTAVERE) comes alive at night with locals and tourists seeking the best food and most congenial neighborhood. You will not regret staying here. Don't even think of staying elsewhere.

In the heart of Trastevere but very quiet on a dead end lane. Unit is fairly compact but had everything we needed including a comfortable king size bed and a small but very good shower with lots of hot water. The kitchenette was a bit cramped but did all we needed as we just had breakfast in the unit. Cooking a meal would have been a bit awkward. Great food available close by, we particularly enjoyed Ai Bozzi just around the corner

This was our favorite part of the trip, it was perfect! The area was gorgeous, during the day it was slow paced with students getting history lessons in the piazza and locals going to work. But at night the whole area comes alive! All the restaurants start setting out their tables for dinner service, the street venders are organizing their booths. Then the tourists,and locals alike start making their way in for a fun night out for dinner and drinks. There is no shortage of choices on restaurants or bars. I suggest to try a new place every night, you won't regret it. Once the night is over and your back in the flat. The ally is quite and clean,no noise from the main strip makes its way in to the house. In the morning I suggest taking a walk, smelling all the restaurants baking the bread and prepping for the day, until you end up at a café called Bar Latteria and get a coffee and a pastry. You won't regret it!

We really enjoyed our stay because it was right in the heart of the food center of Rome that’s grown more popular in recent years but still less tourists and quieter evenings. The place was not on a main walkway which was great for having a peaceful rest at night. The apartment was clean and neat and had all necessary amenities along with a few nice features for staying in and cooking your own meal.

We enjoyed this location very much, the apartment was perfect and right in the middle of such a fabulous neighborhood of Testaverde Rome. We were the envy of all who saw us coming and going down our picturesque street.. we would definitely recommend staying here.

The apartment is on the most beautiful area of Travestere and located near fabulous restaurants. Walkable to many of the historic sites with taxi stand nearby if needed. Apartment is stunning with the most amazing shower and beautifully decorated. Stefano was a terrific host with recommendations, assistance with airport transportation and easy to communicate with. We looked forward to coming back to Travestere each night and trying new restaurants. Highly recommend this apartment and location. You will not be disappointed.

This apartment is perfect for a couple visiting Rome and Trastevere. Just steps away from Piazza Santa Maria AND just steps away from the bus stop to explore Rome. The apartment is located at the end of a secluded Trastevere street so slightly removed from all the activity. Very thoughtfully decorated with a comfortable queen bed, efficient AC, a convenient kitchenette bar and a stylish bathroom with all the amenities. We loved the location.

Trastevere was crowded and busy but the apartment was located at the end of a short quiet lane. Stefano met us at check-in and showed us the apartment and was very nice. He was very responsive during our stay and provided recommendations for places to eat. The apartment is small and cute and had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous apartment. Check in was a breeze and Stefano was super helpful with things to do and places to eat. We had everything we needed in this adorable apartment. It sits on a very photographed street that so charming we didn’t want to leave. Trastevere is a cool hip area of Rome that has a lot to offer. Excellent eateries, bars and souvenir shops are steps away however we never heard noise overflow into our apartment. Highly recommend staying here and when visiting Rome again this will be my first go to. Thank you Stefano for an absolutely exceptional stay!

This apartment is amazing on several levels: the location is perfect -- in the middle of Trastevere, within walking distant or nearly every major sight in Rome, at the end of the most photographed cul-de-sac in this one of the oldest and best preserved neighborhoods in Rome, it is a rare find. The apartment itself is roomy, well-furnished, and kept meticulously clean; and, it's totally affordable! We have stayed there three times for two-weeks at a time: 2014, 2017, and again, 2023. Anyone contemplating a trip to Rome should not overlook this gem.

Stephano was an amazing host to us! My wife had a medical emergency, and Stephano was EXTREMELY helpful in helping us find a hospital and transportation during our ordeal. We are extremely grateful to him and his staff! In addition, the property was outstanding. It had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better neighborhood that was close to the heart of Rome, and also its own neighborhood with so much character (Trestavere). The alley his property is located in is quintessential Italy through and through, with flower pots and beautiful colors all around! We are so thankful to have found this beautiful property, and for Stephano providing pick-up and transportation from the airport. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and a fun, relaxing stay! We would highly recommended this property to anyone considering travels to Rome!

Stefano was the best host! Our luggage got lost in transport, and while we were out enjoying our first day in Rome Stefano met the courier from Lufthansa who brought our suitcases; when we arrived back at the apartment, we were delighted to find them there!
The apartment is well-located; it is easy to walk to all the attractions of Rome, and Trastevere is very charming with lots of great eateries: Trattoria da Augusto was our favorite.
The WiFi is super reliable; the bed is comfy; it's very quiet at night, yet just a block away from the best gelato in Trastevere: Fiordiluna. My husband and I would definitely recommend La Torre Suite!

LaTorre Suite is a beautiful single level apartment/home in the Trastevere District. It is in a central location for navigating around the Rome area. All of the major sites (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vatican City, etc.) are within a 30 minute walk. The train station is also only a 30 minute walk. Trastevere itself seems to be a mix of locals and tourists and there are many excellent restaurants, trattorias, wine bars, coffee shops and bakeries nearby. We absolutely loved our location.
Stefano was an excellent host. He assisted us with transportation from the airport as well as transportation to Civitavecchia at the end of our stay by coordinating a driver for us (Simone, who was a great guy and very knowledgeable of the area since he was born and still lives in Rome). The apartment was extremely clean and had anything you might need. If you wanted to stay in and cook yourself (why would you though?) there was small cooktop to use, a small refrigerator, microwave, a coffee pot and dinnerware. The location also had it's own wifi, 2 televisions (one with satellite and the other is a smart tv for streaming) and an AC/heat unit.
Communication with Stefano was never a problem. He checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and to see if we had any needs and would respond to any questions we had almost immediately. One tip for others that may not use it, "whatsapp" is an excellent tool to use for communications overseas that utilizes the wifi connection and doesn't incur any international roaming fees.
tldr: Great location, great host, everything you'll need for your stay. We highly recommend Stefano and his home and would stay here anytime we visit.
