About this apartment rental
An apartment in the heart of history, located in the very elegant and sought-after Mazarin district, known for its magnificent 16th- and 17th-century mansions. This apartment has been completely renovated and offers first-class service. It is located 50 meters from the Cours Mirabeau, famous for its cafés. The Granet Museum, the Church of St. John of Malta, and all the local shops and markets are nearby. Our property features a terrace overlooking a landscaped courtyard garden offering complete tranquility. It is equipped with a video intercom to monitor access from outside. A direct elevator is fully air-conditioned. The master bedroom is separate and has direct access to the terrace. It features a large closet and a 160-cm bed with new, high-quality linens. Two additional beds are available on a comfortable 160 × 190-cm sofa bed in the main room. The bathroom has a large bathtub with an integrated shower and two sinks. The kitchen is fully equipped with a counter overlooking the main room, which also opens onto the terrace. On the adjacent street, there is a magnificent wellness area with an indoor pool. The “Mignet” public parking lot is a 5-minute walk away. The apartment is located at 9 Rue Frédéric Mistral; this address is well-known because, in February 1891, the famous painter Paul Cézanne settled his wife Hortense and his son in an apartment in this mansion for several seasons.

A quiet and comfortable small apartment with all the home comforts. Air conditioning was very welcome in 30 plus temperatures. The outside balcony is a lovely feature.
The location is excellent with the historic downtown shops and cafes just steps away. Also several daily markets are a wonderful way to spend time and find local produce and gifts.
The shopping is also very good with lots to offer fashionistas.
The only downside was parking which was a municipal facility, conveniently located but expensive at 25 Euros per day.
Overall a great stay. Would recommend heartily.

We loved the flat and its proximity to all the charms of Aix. It’s in the quiet Mazarin neighborhood but less than two blocks from bustling Cours Mirabeau. And an easy walk to anywhere in the historic district.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in late April. The apartment is very comfortable and tasteful, with a delightful balcony with table on the shady side of the quiet courtyard. Has A/C in both the living room and bedroom, which we did not yet need to use. Walking distance to everything, we highly recommend this rental!
