About this cottage rental
Complete renovation in 2019, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 10 people in beds with 2 more in pull out couch. Included with the rental are 2 kayak's, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat for you to enjoy on the lake. Covered outdoor living area with furniture and gas grill to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. All new appliances in the kitchen with a great view of the lake. Sunken Lake is a no wake lake, so you can enjoy the quite. Property is also available for ice fishing in the winter on Sunken Lake.

We really enjoyed this property. The house is great. Large, well stocked kitchen. Everything was nice and thoughtfully decorated. Property manager was available if we needed anything.We spent most of our time on the large covered patio and by the firepit. The resident bald eagle pair that lives across the lake were fun to watch each day and even gave us a fishing lesson. Also an amazing loon and egret. We took advantage of the paddle boat and kayaks to spend some time on the water, and appreciated the long dock.I enthusiastically reccomend this property for a perfect summer getaway to escape the heat and crowds.

This was an amazing place. The lake is beautiful and so peaceful. It was perfect for our group with kids and young grandkids. The porch on the back with table and comfy furniture was great for sitting in evenings. Loved the large windows looking out to the lake. The lake was great for fishing and so quiet there were no worries with taking our young kids out on kayaks. Sleeping arrangements very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. The yard area was big enough for them to run around in and the lake was shallow for quite awhile so playing at lake edge was great. It is not a sand area by lake but the kids didn't care about that at all. Was great to just hop in a kayak go fish and return. The little loved taking their small kayaks out just past the dock and back alone, a first for them. The little circle drive and quiet drive back to house was perfect for bike riding with the grandkids. There are quiet dirt roads for adult bike riding. The yard has plenty of shade but also sunny areas if want to soak up sun on shore. We would definitely do this again! None of the kids wanted to leave. Everything was clean and host super friendly. If we had any questions they responded quickly and were super helpful

The lake view was very exciting. Walking into the property all you saw was a lake and a forest of trees on the opposite lake side. The view was excellent from the whole back of the house. Plenty of fire wood was available for our stay. The house was open and clean. The boats kayaks and the peddle boat were accessible and functional. Lots of wild life to be seen including a bald eagle that fished right on our shoreline for three days. We even saw a loon everyday! We will return to this property again as the trip was overall positive.
