Truly fantastic location, and spacious, shady flat with even an outdoor terrace.
The key we were given did not open the downstairs door! We were lucky if someone else was coming into or out of the building at the same time -- when there was nobody else, we had to phone the host late at night to let us in remotely!
Also, there were 2 empty bottles of laundry fluid above the washing-machine, and no washing-up liquid in the kitchen. When we asked for some, we were given a bottle of washing-up liquid the size of a small perfume-bottle.....

The staff was awesome and very responsive and helpful. We were right by the Valentin Hill and Roman forum. Colosseum was just a 15 minute walk. The apartment had a microwave and large fridge and freezer. They had a small AC unit that ran 24 hours and another that only ran 12 hours.
It was hot. I’m not talking warm I’m talking hot with no airflow. Though there were two AC units it was burning in the apartment. Gratefully they gave us two fans but even with those pointed directly at us, the middle of the night was way too hot. None of us could sleep for most of the night. We came in August and I could not stay here again at this time of year. My only real complaint was the heat so if it was not as hot this would be a great apartment.
