Nestled in Talbingo, this lovely house for $294 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. THIS HOUSE HAS BEEN EXTENSIVELY RENOVATED! REAR DECK NOW COMPLETE!! SECOND BATHROOM COMPLETED! This house has all the room you need for the family, families or smaller groups who just like the open space. The lounge room / living area would be one of the largest for a snowy house with exposed timber rafters to the ceiling giving you a sense of even more space. Inside has been completely re-lined, new carpet and bamboo timber flooring throughout. The kitchen is completely stocked with all the cutlery and crockery one could possible need. It has the lot!! When the owners complete the deck extension and laundry / second bathroom this house will challange as one of the best stayz in Talbingo!!. KOSCIUSZKO LODGE FEATURES: Kosciuszko Lodge is situated in a prime location. The property has great views of the mountains and views of Jounama Dam from the rear deck. The property backs onto Park land and has rear access for boats or other vehicles. Kosciuszko Lodge is only a few minutes walk from any of Talbingo's amenities including, children's playground, park, sporting oval, Country Club, golf course, tennis courts, Talbingo Lodge Restaurant, supermarket and service station. The lounge room has a large SMARTTV. Comfortable seating throughout and a reverse cycle split system air-conditioning unit are present. The kitchen at present is more than adequate. Two fridges are present, microwave, electric stove and a Nespresso Coffee Machine. All three bedrooms have been newly renovated and contain built in wardrobes and ceiling fans. Bedroom 2 and 3 have Split System Air-Conditioning Units. Electric blankets and bedding (excluding sheets and towels) have been provided for your convenience. The bedding configurations are as follows: Bedroom 1 - Queen Bed. Bedroom 2 - Double/single bunk x 2. (sleeps 6) Bedroom 3 - Queen Bed. If required Sheets and towels can be hired for the following rates; Queen/double - $20 each bed Single - $10 each bed The property has level yards, rare in Talbingo, to enjoy those warm summer days or gather around the FIRE PIT at night. The concrete driveway makes for easy access if towing or storing boats. We can accommodate a maximum of 10 people Sorry - strictly no pets allowed THINGS TO SEE AND DO - MT SELWYN An ideal spot for learners and families where skiing is at its most affordable. Selwyn caters for up to 2000 people per day, and offers food and retail outlets, equipment and clothing hire, and ski school. Approx 40min drive from Talbingo. WATERSPORTS: Talbingo is the centre of immense waterways. Talbingo, Blowering and Jounama Lakes offer 6500 hectares of recreational water . On Talbingo and Blowering: water skiing, sailing, canoeing and swimming are every day activities during the warmer weather. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: Talbingo is at the centre of a vast playground for outdoor activities. Bushwalking, mountain bike riding, fishing, exploring, visiting or just kicking back and relaxing. Our stay at the Lodge was wonderful. We had plenty of room and enjoyed nearly every meal out on the spacious deck. It was ideal for our family of 4 and we enjoyed having a few friends to stay as well - plenty of room for all.

Great place, felt nice and homely. Perfect for larger families or two families looking to share a place. Kids loved it, especially the bunks, and seeing the kangaroos out the back in the park, and the peacock that came to visit a couple of times!

This house is perfect for entertaining. The outdoor deck and fire pit was where we spent most of our time which was perfect and very spacious. It's a short distance to the local club for a meal. Would definitely stay again. Easy check-in process. Thanks Mark for having us.

This place was a great find. The property was a great base for exploring. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and the kids enjoyed the familiar comfort of good WIFI.

The perfect space for a getaway! The deck out the back is what makes this property, great place to relax after a day of hiking and out on the water. We will be back!

House was perfect, great location. Comfortable clean and accommodating. Wifi available to keep teens happy at night. Back deck was the popular hanging space with viewing all sorts of wildlife. Will be back for sure.

Property is so well located in the area, allowing us to get out and about every day. The house was really clean and comfortable, although we spent all our spare time outside around the fire pit, which was awesome. Only four of us on this occasion, so we had heaps of space, but would be great for larger groups or a couple of families. Mark was great to communicate with, making special arrangements for us to collect the key, as we were arriving late in the evening, and responds quickly to all questions. Hope to go back again.

Mark was great host and his communication was so quick and helpful. The property is clean and tidy and renovated which is great compared to other properties we’ve stayed at in Talbingo. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will continue to book. Highly recommend.

Annual Family Ski holiday

Beautiful tranquil location and home away from home
The house and village of Talbingo is tranquil and a haven. Peacock displays in the garden, kangaroos in the next street and beautiful scenery and the iconic Hydro Electric system all in the locality. A wonderful family stay.

Our weekend stay in Talbingo
Our two families thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay! The house is so lovey and cosy. Everything you would need away from home. The two bathrooms were awesome, well set up laundry too.. We had a lovely chinese meal at the country club on our first night and a bbq dinner at the house on our second night, making great use of the firepit in the backyard with toasted marshmallows.
The back deck is amazing, sitting there listening to the birds and enjoying watching them eating from the birdfeeder hanging on the back deck while we played board games was one of our favourite memories.

Love the lodge
We loved our stay, the house felt spacious with two families and it had everything you could need. All the kitchen items you need to cook, the beautiful laundry/bathroom with underfloor heating was perfect to dry our ski gear, the huge deck, bbq and outdoor fire for toasting marshmallows, the plentiful bounty of shampoos etc, Foxtel, electric blankets, good heating... we could go on. It was a lovely clean and comfortable property and we will definitely try to book it again. The ski hire shop in town was also great, very friendly and helpful staff. We preferred that option to save us time at the snow.

The house was well setup, lots of room for big families. I have already recommended this place to others.
A note to Mark please check the electric blankets 1 set did not work. Another in the bunk beds kept turning of... no lights.
