I had an unexpected emergency and so I sent my son and his friends who are all over 20 2122 to check into the house Friday night and my mom who is 68 was coming the next day. The owner showed up Saturday morning evicted us and would not answer my phone calls. He then emailed me and said it didn’t matter if my mom was there or not he didn’t allow chaperoned guests or kids on spring break. I think this is a scam to get people to rent. The house sleeps 13 but no chaperoned guests? And spring break runs from March to April so why do you even rent those times if you don’t want people on Spring Break. We should have gotten a refund but was refused even after learning my families emergency.

I had a very pleasant experience. The property owner/manager responds with in minutes to questions or concerns. I will definitely be reserving this property for future vacations

We were not welcome here. It would’ve been better suited for families with young children or people who go to bed early. It seems like it was the perfect place for us but turns out it wasn’t. Also - They need to take the advertisement of hot tub off the website because it does not exist and it doesn’t seem like events are welcome /they want everything closed down in quiet at 10 PM

property could use a detail clean but was not bad. No hot tub would have been nice to know before coming to property(and or booking). But as a vacation rental it was overall nice and what you would want/expect thank you

Fantastic for two families. Short walk to private beach area. Only had a couple small issues but communication with the owners was always quick and easy.

Wish the hot tub was still there we knew about this before arrival. Wish there was a crock pot like owner said :( but we made it work. We knew about the kitchenette but I wish there was a hot plate to make cooking downstairs doable. Bed was broke when we came in Romeo was very quick to get there and get us fixed up. This was the best vacation we’ve had will be back

The house was located on a great street with an easy walk to the beach. The house was clean and in good condition. It is the perfect set up for multiple families to have their own privacy yet still social together. The owners are extremely nice and respond within minutes. Thanks for a great vacation!!

The location of this house is perfect. Short 1 minute walk from the driveway to the beach. The beds were very comfortable, the ice maker made ice all week which was a big plus. It was also very nice to have 2 refrigerators in the house. It was nice to sit out on the balcony every morning and see the ocean while drinking our coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was exactly as described except the hot tub, which was a desired item, had been removed. We were happy to have stayed at Mas Coladas.

Fabulous beach and very quick walk to access. I’d recommend this property and Matt was great.

Our stay was awesome, we had to book last minute due to a cancellation for hurricane damage at another condo and the manager got us taken care of very quickly. Sent us all the information we needed for our stay and access to the rental. Loved that the beach access is at the end of the driveway. There was plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards under the stairs for others to use. You can see the beach from the balcony but it’s very limited view but still very nice. Plenty of room for family and friends. The set up was a little different, almost like you have two rentals. One upstairs and one downstairs but it worked out just fine with our group. The property was clean and had no issues. Was nervous with the previous reviews on the a/c but took the chance, upstairs was pretty warm when we arrived but the unit did cool off to a comfortable temp and remained the rest of our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was great. We especially enjoyed the hot tub! I'd recommend stocking up on better kitchen equipment but that was our only issue.

Great place to stay. The location is really good, only a few steps from the beach in an inside street super safe for kids.The house was really confortable with everything that we needed and more.

We had an AWESOME experience with Mas Coladas! It was much closer to the beach than we expected which was great! The staff are wonderful, if you need anything Romeo and Matt get back to you within minutes of emailing them. The place was very clean and decorated beautifully. It was the perfect setting for our trip!! I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be coming back to stay at Mas Coladas!!

The house was beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. A short walk to the beach and a big fenced in yard for the younger ones to burn off energy in. Our stay here was much more than expected and slept all 10 of us quite comfortably while having just enough room to have our own space. We look forward to returning next summer!

Over all it was great for our event!! The only surprise was the separation of the upstairs. We didn’t realize the only access to the upstairs was outside. As 1of 2 chaperones that worried us with teenagers but It tuned out not to be an issue for our group. But something that some groups may need or want to know before booking. Beach access was closer than we thought!! Downstairs was HOT. The air conditioner rule was not below 72. Bring fans it’s does get Hot during the day and hard to sleep at night. The garage door pulls a lot of heat with no wall and insulation to cover it. We purchased fans and it worked out. The door code we were given to get in the house didn’t work. We called the number on our paperwork. They contacted the maintenance manager and he called us back within 2-3 mins with the correct code. Great response time. We would book this again and recommend to others with events.

Just a short walk to the beach. Restricted view of the water from the deck. Giant bedroom with partitioned desk area. Nice tiled walk-in shower. The complimentary umbrella/chair setup was great! Only downsides were the A/V did not work(never got fixed while we were there) and the kitchen, while nice, lacked some important utensils(grill utensil, pasta stir, chopping block, etc.) Our first trip to the Emerald Coast was great. We will be back!
