Im Zimmer war Schimmel, der frisch überstrichen wurde. Uns wurde es als Farbaufbesserung verkauft. Aber das Zimmer roch danach. Und es war dunkel.

Wir haben das Personal auf den Schimmel und den Geruch angesprochen. Es wurde alles abgetan und mehr oder weniger ignoriert.

Our reservation was in the Eccelso Apartments. Francesca and Piera were so kind and accomodating. We had a snafu with our room initially however, it was handled professionally and quickly. We felt safe with the location. The ladies also were a wealth of information and tips on how to navigate the city! I would definitely stay at Eccelso again!!

Останавливался на 1 ночь, поэтому сложно написать много, ничем особо не запомнился, но в общем то хороший отель. Хорошее местоположение! Но нет своего ресторана, (насколько я понял простые завтраки (круассан, сок, кофе) по предварительному запросу могут принести в номер), но рядом, близко действительно много мест, где можно хорошо отдохнуть, поужинать, опять же позавтракать.

Кондиционер практически не работал, шумел, но практически не холодил. В итоге сам открыл его, снял фильтры, промыл их (они были просто адски грязные), и стало чуть чуть лучше. Но кондиционер явно требует обслуживания и заправки.

Хороший отель, находится в нескольких минутах от Ватикана. Рядом много ресторанов и кофеен. От этого района удобно добираться, даже пешком, до разных достопримечательностей. Номера убирали каждый день. В самом отеле очень чисто. Вежливый персонал.

Улучшить матрасы на кровати и продумать спальное место для 3го человека, было некомфортно.

The women at the reception are very nice and helpful, but after checking out and returning no one is replying anymore.

very poor service, water paid extra, generally not recommended. Bill problems at the end. Demanding service, focus only on money. leaking shower, door swollen with water. Extra paid towels if you want extra. I do not recommend.

A lovely little hotel with friendly, helpful and welcoming staff on the front desk. It was clean and had a comfy bed. The air con was definitely needed during our stay due to the heatwave, so we were grateful for this. Fairly good location - close to the Vatican, the metro, and a lovely restaurant round the corner (Osteria Faruso). Took the metro and did long walks in order to get around to the other monuments.

Our only frustration was being caught out at the end of our stay having to pay for coffees. Luckily we'd only had one each. There was a sign in our room saying that a coffee would be waiting for us in reception every morning from 8am (no mention of a need to pay), but they were actually €1.50 each for a shot of espresso.

Nice neighborhood, great contemporary room with an 18th century vibe. Friendly host.

An early check out at 10:00 was a bit unexpected, but we we offered a bit extra time to pack.

Close to Vatican, bus stops, and metro but a quiet area with easy links to other sights. Our room (budget) was small but perfectly adequately as we only slept there and very well cleaned daily. The hotel is small but the reception staff were all very helpful to us in providing tips about sites and restaurants, particularly Anka with whom we interacted most frequently.

Fantastic stay at Eccelso Hotel! Heart of Vatican, easy transportation, cosy and beautiful rooms. The team at the hotel were truly awesome and friendly, providing excellent service thru. Highly recommended!

Nice staff

Stayed at the “apartment”, which is not differentiated on the booking site from their other listing, called the “hotel”. We wanted to stay in Prati and instead got sent to a location north of theVatican museum. In summary: - location of the booking was not as listed on the website (over a half mile away from where we booked) - location was so loud (right next to Vatican Museum) during the day - air conditioning was broken for a few days (summer 90 degrees) - electricity went out for many hours (12+) - windows were broken -sink hot water pressure was not good
