Everything, it was cozy, comfortable. The location was great and we had all we needed for our stay.

The location is 2 miles from the main road which makes it feel nice and remote but not too far that you feel in the middle of nowhere. The log burner and free logs are great. Everything you need to have a comfortable cozy stay.
The mattress in the main bedroom was thin and didn’t offer much support. Also the bed frame has a foot board which isn’t great if you are tall like me. The fridge wasn’t very clean on arrival and some pots were put away dirty, I’m guessing from the previous person that had rented it.
This hasn’t put us off and we would definitely stay again

It was very cozy, the communication with the lodge team it was clear. We have a lovely time and the fireplace was just perfect for a cold night. Just what we were looking for
