the location decent once we found it.
The taxi driver dropped us off at the Artemis across the street and they pointed us to the building with four columns out front. When we got inside there wasn't any signs or directions how to find the place..There were multiple small hotels in one large building with four floors. Very difficult to locate.

This seems to be a trend, small “hotels” retrofitted into a large building. It’s like a B&B without the breakfast. The facility was clean, it had recently been renovated into nice rooms, but there is no lobby or other services.
Like I said, previously, there are no other services available. We had to go down to the street and hail a cab with the assistance of a local.

Amazing location in Rome, friendly and supportive staff, clean room, a bit small but peaceful, water/coffee/snacks are offered daily for free at the entrance, secure building with code entrance
Nothing to dislike :)

Location
The first difficulty was trying to find the place. There was no external sign at the front door, but there were signs for other small hotels embedded with apartments in an old building. While the owner was there to hand us the key and show us the room, there was no staff on site. Communication was through "What's app". For the price, you are paying for the location not comfort. Owner preferred cash and price would be 40% less if contacting him directly.
