Beautiful property, I’m in love with the design of the pub itself. There was plenty for us to do while having a quiet drink, pool, chess, cards, darts and other games. The staff and locals were really friendly and welcoming. Our room and breakfast were lovely and value for money.
We couldn’t find any faults.

Location
Beds in the pub rooms need replacing. Very lumpy and uncomfortable. Carpet in the breakfast room very stained, so off putting. The stairs/landing to the pub located rooms grubby with what looked like a small drop of blood on the wall. No meals served in the evening currently., we had to go to another pub a few miles away. The breakfast offering was adequate but a long wait for hot food, perhaps due to staffing levels for 14 guests eating at similar times. We will be visiting the area often over the next couple of years but will not be staying here again. I rarely leave poor reviews but felt it appropriate this time regarding the rooms in the main pub building.
