We took a quick 2 nights at our favorite shore point to celebrate the season. This was a new place in an old familiar town. We were very pleased with the location and the property. The water wasn't turned on in the bathroom which led to a bit of concern before my husband figured it out:) but then everything was fine! We would stay here again.

The place was adorable, charming, clean!! Plenty big enough for us. Appreciated the available parking. I can’t say enough about the location!! In the middle of everything!!! A couple of blocks from the Washington Mall. We were here for the Christmas Lights Tour and the place was walking distance from practically all of the stops on the tour. Thanks so much!

Charming apartment, with its location perfect for walking to everything. Very clean and comfortable.
We were visiting Cape May for the Christmas Parade, and the location made it easy for us to walk everywhere. We hope to be back next year!

We came to Cape May, as we do every fall, to attend a needleworkers' retreat. This property was perfect for us! Close to the retreat, close to the cross stitch shop, close to the walking mall. We had a lovely weekend, and this quaint, lovely rental was perfect for us!

Very nice, well equipped, property. The location was excellent. Furniture was very comfortable. Even the fireplace heater works well. Attractively decorated. We’d stay here again.

This was my third time staying in the Stella Maris and I am already looking forward to the next time! The convenience, amenities, value and charm of this property are the perfect combination to give you no reason to ever look any further. It has suited us for both a family getaway and girl's weekends. Thank you, Monica, for being such a wonderful hostess and allowing us to make more memories there!

This is a lovely two bedroom apartment conveniently located near Washington Mall and a short walk to the beach through the beautiful streets of Cape May. The apartment has everything you could need to cook, bake, grill, microwave and serve a meal or snack. From the porch at night we could hear the ocean waves while reading or sharing time together. Everything about this home is welcoming and comfortable. We loved it and intend to come back again. The owner was quickly responsive and patient helping us fumble through using the actually quite simple lockbox! She messaged us on our arrival day to let us know we could get in earlier because the cleaning had been completed.

This is our third stay in this particular apartment, and we've already booked our dates for next year. The space is clean, comfortable, and came equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant week. The location is unbeatable - just steps away from shopping, dining, and groceries. The beach is a short walk, and the beach box is a godsend, particularly if you're traveling with kids - no need to haul plastic pails and boogie boards back and forth. The host is very accommodating and always quick to respond. We love this place ❤️🌊

The photos for this listing do not do it justice. This is a well-appointed, charming, and welcoming space with plenty of open room in the living areas.
The bedrooms are also a good size, with the main bedroom being especially large and beautifully decorated. Walking into the main bedroom felt like entering a B&B.
The house was clean, smelled fresh, and had a wonderful central air system.
Personal touches are everywhere and it felt very warm and cozy, more like staying at a friend or relative's home and less like what you may expect to encounter when renting.
The location is in the center of town, the Washington Street Mall, grocery, bike rental, beach, and several museums are all well within walking distance.
We are already looking at the availability for the next year and hope to reserve a longer stay.

Perfect location to walk to downtown Cape May and the beach. Very clean and as described online. I've never had to bring our own sheets and towels but it was fine because one of our other stays on this trip has the same thing. Communication was great. I would definitely recommend this apartment!

The apartment is cute and had all we needed for a Memorial Day Weekend trip. The hostess was very responsive to questions. The location is fabulous. Ten minute walk to the boardwalk; right near the Washington Street mall. It was a great stay!

We had a great time here, everything was within walking distance, even with two little ones we had an easy time getting around and not having to worry about parking made this much more ideal than our last stay in the Cape May area. The house is comfortable and we had a great stay!

The property was nice but the owner was not willing communicate with us to amicably settle a misunderstanding. One set of keys was inadvertently misplaced but not lost. Owner was advised of the whereabouts of the keys on the property. However, the owner charged us $100 with the explanation that we did not follow proper instructions.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and loved it. The apartment was in a great location and was beautifully decorated and clean. The furniture was comfortable. There was AC and some windows could be opened for a nice breeze. The balcony in the back was nice, cozy and private. There was even a gas grill. Communication with the landlord was great. Prompt replies and such a sweet person. She was a pleasure. I would love to stay here again. Thank you for such a fantastic VRBO experience!

Despite the rain the house was warm and cozy with a lovely fireplace. Nice decor and very quiet.

The apartment was very clean and in an excellent location for exploring all Cape May has to offer. We loved how close it was to Washington Street Mall and great coffee at Out There. While not an issue for us, it is notable that you must bring your own towels and sheets. The decor was a unique mix of Victorian antiques, many mirrors, and beach themed tchotchkes. We would stay again for the great location and privacy.

My adult kids and I stayed two nights and appreciated the proximity to the beach and shopping/dining. The location was central but quiet. The weather was somewhat uncooperative and we were glad to have a comfy place to wait for the storms to pass. We didn't cook other than make coffee but the kitchen was well appointed. Just a tip -- takes about 10 minutes for the H2O to heat up in the shower

Great location. Great host. Very nice home. Lock box was difficult for us to use and the steps were very steep for our age group. Thank you for your patience with us.

This location was perfect for our needs and the property manager was so easy to work with!
My only advice is to be aware that there are steps to access the unit, so someone with ambulation issues may find it challenging (please know this was not a surprise, the property description mentions it).
The unit was mostly perfect, just had some issues with the bathroom water pressure - however this is not a showstopper!
Overall a great weekend!

Place was very cute and furnished with a lot of antiques. For those that are walking impaired there are 17 steps up to the deck. The bathroom is small. My husband is 6'2 and was actually above the shower head LOL. There is a coffee maker there with drip coffee. We only used the one bedroom so not sure about the other one with twin beds. We were in a good location and did have one parking spot. We were very pleased with our stay!

The apartment has everything you need and the location is wonderful. 4 adults were comfortable and we could walk to the beach and historic areas easily.

This property is centrally located to shops, restaurants and just a few blocks to the beach. The kitchen is filled with all sorts of supplies that include some basic groceries (spices, oils, sugar, etc.) It's furnished with lovely antiques. The host responds to any issues quickly. The only downside is that you have to bring your own linens/towels/pillows.

My husband and I were back in Cape May after not being there for 21 years. Lots of changes! We were glad to be staying away from the crowds and noise on Beach Ave. The property was as described. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Authentic antique furnishings are beautiful. Plenty of lights were much appreciated. The location is walkable to everything and pretty quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking the neighborhoods to see the beautiful Victorian houses. Easy walk to the beach, grocery store, pedestrian mall with restaurants and shops. The beach box was very handy, however the lock is very rusty and hard to open and close. We used the new beach umbrella and stored it in the beach box. The large bedroom is beautiful! There are lots of sitting places in the apartment. My only gripe is the bed is very firm. My husband loved it but I have fibromyalgia and it was actually painful for me but I managed. Love the old tub. It's high rimmed so people should be aware if they are short like me that it's a big step in and out. The water pressure isn't great in the shower, but again, we managed. All in all, we were very pleased with the apartment, loved the location, and had a great time. We do have 2 suggestions for the comfort of guests and to safeguard the property: 1. A light on the deck that will stay on steadily. We enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings listening to the cicadas and playing cards but as soon as it started getting dark we couldn't see well enough as the light went on only if it detected motion. It would be nice to read out there in the evening as well but it was very dark. 2. A water faucet (or at least a hose) to spray the sand off feet and legs and anything else going upstairs. Thank you, Stella, for sharing your beautiful property. The effort put into the furnishings and accessories is much appreciated.

Renting the apartment went very smoothly and Monica was very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment in a pleasantly quiet neighborhood in Cape May. We had one issue with the AC which the host was able to have fixed immediately, which we much appreciated.
There was a long flight of stairs up to the apt which was ok for us, but we hadn't been aware that this would be the case. For some folks it would be better if this were made clear in the write-up.

Adorable apartment that has the Cape May charm. Convenient to the shopping and restaurants. Only issue is parking but that’s not the owners fault. Cape May has limited free on the street parking but it’s easy to use the app. Was there on Labor Day but manageable and the beach boxes that the owner has available means you don’t have to drag umbrellas and chairs to the beach. Relaxing time!

Amazing stay . Amazing location. Amazing old charm inside and out. The property is so spacious it was able to accommodate our 3 kids (7, 3, 10 month old) , my mother-in-law, and my husband and myself. Property owner/manager is super nice and accommodating. Having a beach box is a plus. Stayed during July 4th and you can see a partial view of the fireworks from the deck. Will definitely be booking again

This is the 2nd year in a row we stay at this place. The location is perfect, a 5-minute walk from historic Cape May's attractions and 10 minutes from the beach.
The place is very spatious with many amenities.
Monica is very responsive and kind.
We have already reserved it for next summer ('23)!
