The atmosphere, the cleanliness

Location was great, eventually got the jist of how to get back and was nice being a couple minutes walk from Lambeth and Kennington tube stations.
Honestly, the biggest highlight for me was Onefam Waterloo's awesome staff. I want to give a huge thank you to all the hostel leaders, especially Isadora, Cuba and Aron who I got to know quite well, for doing an amazing job keeping us safe, included, and for giving me the best first hostel experience I could have wished for🫶🤗💖
One thing that did get quite tiresome was going back and forth to the front desk with the luggage room key. Especially when you were getting changed you'd pop by once to get new clothes, return your key to the front desk while you showered, then back to the desk to fetch the key, then put your dirty clothes in your back, then return key again. Don't get me wrong, I loved chatting with the staff at the front desk. I just think maybe you guys could trial something where each guest gets a key to the luggage room when they check in which they can keep on them for the duration of their stay, to be returned when they check out...
There's probably a reasoning as to why there's only a single master key for the luggage room so idk.

Such a welcoming and sociable place to stay! The staff were all super friendly and went out of their way from the moment I stepped through the door - asking me about my stay, providing a tour of the hostel, showing me to my room, and carrying my luggage. Big thanks to Iona and Tom for making me feel welcome straight away :) I only stayed one night but there was definitely a family feel with everyone eating together, playing games and exploring London as a group in the evening. I would recommend if you’re travelling and want to meet people. Location is close to Waterloo and quiet. There were lockers, communal kitchen, and free ear plugs which was great as I forgot mine. They also stored my luggage after check out.
Only reason I didn’t give 10/10 was because there were limited areas to get ready in the morning.

Staff are so friendly and helpful (I checked in very late but someone was still on reception to help me).
The facilities were the cleanest out of any hostel I have stayed in and great location!!
It was a little hard to find as the street looks like quite a residental area but everything was okay once I found it
