The host Nicky was so helpful from the moment we got there to the moment we left. She greeted us personally and showed us around the studio. It was easy to find with the directions given and the views were amazing. Loved keeping an eye out for the wildlife they encounter, especially the badger. Lovely little shop and cafe a half mile away, and great walks along the Great Gen way.
Having to go and not staying longer.

We absolutely loved staying here-we had the studio upstairs and have only lovely things to say about the whole experience. The location is quiet and peaceful, you can hear the river and birds when you open the window and the views of the trees was wonderful, especially in the sunshine. It's easy to walk to the local community shop and cafe, and the local bridge over the river with some rapids was utterly charming and very pretty.
The accomodation is great, with a very comfortable bed and great mattress-much better than in most places we've stayed in, which we very much appreciated! There is lots of space to sit, to read, to cook (a cosy but well stocked kitchen area with everything you would need) and just generally to relax and take in the calm and the views.
The owners were really lovely and had clearly put lots of thought into the space, which was homely and comfortable and had so many thoughtful touches throughout.
It's also worth mentioning that we were able to watch two badgers in the evening; and they are apparently regulars, as there is food put out for them, which was the source of much excitement!
Overall, a thoroughly wonderful stay in a beautiful place which we plan to stay in again and which I have already recommended to friends!

Convenient location for the great glen way
Dark and slightly damp - the area felt oppressive with overgrown trees and foliage surrounding the property
