Villa Tranquila has it all; beautiful turquoise hues of the Caribbean, a wonderful rooftop pool for you to enjoy,. Downtown & beautiful beaches only a short walk away. Each room has its own furnished terrace for lounging. The rooftop terrace (partially covered with a palapa or thatched roof) offers magnificent views of the open sea & Mujeres Bay. It has a mini bar area with a fridge, sink, & toilet, as well as tables & chairs for enjoying spectacular sunsets while dining. This newly renovated home includes the 'Main House' (set up for 4 persons) and 2 Studios (set up for 2 each) one over the other in a separate blg. on the same property. The master bedroom and living room of the main house are oceanfront as well as both studios. The first floor of the 'Main House' consists of a sunken living room complete with built -in couches, comfy leather chairs, ottoman and Smart TV . Sliding glass doors lead to an outside terrace. A 1/2 bath, a well equipped kitchen, & dining area complete the first floor. An indoor circular stairway leads to the second level which consists of 2 bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom. The oceanfront bedroom has a king size bed, leather easy chair & ottoman, Smart TV . The roadside bedroom has a queen bed, chair, table w/chairs, Smart TV These bedrooms can also be accessed by an outer stairway leading to the second floor, if you don't want to use the inner circular staircase. The 2 Studios are each equipped with an ensuite full bathroom, a queen bed, smart TV, fridge, coffeemaker, iron w/ironing blanket, small couch, table & chairs. This is a great property to share with family and friends, with plenty of privacy and comfort for all! The Villa can be rented as a four bedroom house, the main house only(two bedrooms), the main house and one studio(three bedrooms), or one or two studios only(one or two bedrooms). When renting a part of the Villa, you may be sharing the rooftop palapa and pool with other guests. The availability calendar shows only rental of the whole Villa, so if you are interested in the main house and/or one or two studios for any of the open dates showing on the calendar, please inquire as to which units are available for your dates.'

The house was stunning and Lisa made it a breeze to check-in. The main house (master bedroom and second bedroom) with the 2 studios gave everyone their own privacy. The dipping pool on the top floor allowed relaxation in the sun, while offering spectacular views of the ocean. Everyone loved the stay at the house.
The only weird thing that we noticed was that the four full bathrooms for all of the bedrooms and studios, had old western style saloon doors. The kind that swings in and out. That didn't allow much privacy from the wife or girlfriend, if you were using the bathroom. The main house guest bathroom had a regular door.
The location was great. Away from the Playa Norte crowd made it peaceful. Renting a goft cart made it easy to visit the whole island, along with grocery shopping.
We would rent this house again.

Villa Tranquilla is a beautiful property, clean and well maintained. The location was perfect - walking distance to both the north end and south end. Easy to get taxis right in front of the villa if necessary. We walked and cleaned the beach everyday. If ever an issue the maintenance crew was there to fix it within the hour. Rooftop had beautiful views of sunrise and sunset, pool was chilly but fun to have. Would definitely stay at this property again.

The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room, good location, and the stay made for an outstanding vacation. It was a quick golf cart ride to anywhere we wanted to go. Communication from the host was very helpful and she was responsive to any questions we had.

Our family enjoyed our stay. Property management was quick to resolve any issues we had. Property was very clean. We even had a midstate cleaning done which was fantastic. The only thing missing was a hot tub. It would’ve been nice to have a hot tub in Lieu of the rooftop pool. Great location. Very quiet and safe area.

Loved the house, it was just perfect for our needs! It was located in a more quiet part of the island but a quick golf cart ride to anything you wanted. Parking in front of the house was easy and the endless jugs of free drinking water was a huge bonus we did not expect! Would totally stay again.

This house was perfect for my group of 7 adults. The beach in the back of the house, gave us a front row view to the sea turtles coming a sure to lay their eggs! The roof top pool was a welcome relief from a day in the heat.
I would like mention that the area by the pool can get sippery, so be careful.
If you sit on the living room couch, you can watch the sun rise, if you dont feel like going outdoors that early. It was beautiful!

We stayed a week at Villa Tranquil. We had all 4 rooms so there was a lot of space. We loved the top floor pool and spent most of our time there. The ocean breeze was gorgeous and kept us cool in the July heat. At night we watched as the turtles came onto the beach and laid their eggs. It was amazing!

Beautiful stay, outside the hustle and bustle, but still close by. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Turtles lay eggs nightly right in front of the house!

My group normally stays at the Mia. We decided to rent a VRBO for this trip. The house was easy to find, communication with Lisa (property manager) was wonderful. She was fast and responsive. We did have a sink issue, and she had maintenance out within an hour. The house is perfect for adult group. Everyone had their own spaces. The pool is more of an adult pool good for floating, sitting and drinking. Lots of stairs so this is not the property if you have mobility issues. Bathrooms are small and lack privacy if you have more than one person to a room. The place was clean and comfortable. The cleaning lady was wonderful and did an amazing job on our mid-rental cleaning. This property does sit on a busy street so the front bedrooms do have that noise. However, this location gives you the perfect view of the ocean and the gulf from the roof. All in all our stay was comfortable and affordable. Would stay here again.

We had an awesome time on the island. So much had changed in 12 years it was fun to explore. So much more to do on the south end. Food everywhere was great. Our location was just as expected and perfect for our family. Hope to come back again in the next couple of years.

We loved our house of the beach. The beach is honestly right outside the door, which means great views and getting to hear the waves. The beach is a little rocky and so is the water but you can still go out there.
The walk to town is good and feels really safe. I wouldn't say a golf cart is required but it's really nice.
My only word of warning is to be careful with the slippery tile. We didn't have kiddos but I would be worried about them running and falling.
Amazing house - we would come and stay here again.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Tranquila! Perfect for our 4 boys (group of 7). They loved the rooftop space! Great location, despite the extreme during our week. We were able to jump on the golf carts and get to Playa Norte or Punta Sur several times throughout the week. The home was clean and beds were comfortable. Management was receptive and prompt if we ever had an issue or question.

Property adjoining was a dump. Toilet leaked flooding lover aspect of main unit, repair man serviced it twice and still leaks. Later could not open one of the single bedroom units, key would turn but nothing happened. Took 2 repair men to get it the unit, ruining an afternoon

Property was oceanfront, had a great location, and had many steps (but we didn't mind). We moved the lounge chairs by the pool to the beach to sun since a roof covers the pool lounging area. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and very responsive.

We loved our stay at Villa Tranquila! Plenty of room for all of us, amazing views and all amenities needed! Very breezy on windy days which would be perfect in the heat of summer. There are a LOT of stairs. We had my elderly mother with us so we just had to be careful about slick stairs and made sure her room was on the bottom floor. Daughter loved the rooftop pool. Convenient location to everything and easy to find if you've never been on the island before (we have many times). Tvs, acs and showers worked great! Very comfortable beds and softest towels. We had an amazing time and can't wait to return!

I definitely recommend this property. It is very short golf cart ride to town (2 or 3 minutes) but far enough away to have some privacy. My wife and three of our adult children spent a week. The house set up was great. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We spent a lot time on the roof top area with the small pool. The kitchen was great as well. We had a local chef come in for a privet cooking lesson and the kitchen worked out well. The property management company was very good. We had a couple of minor issues. They sent people over right away even though I told them it was not urgent and it could wait. The one con is the busy road and noise from vehicles going over the speed bump in front of the house. The noise was highly noticeable in the front bedroom. Obviously not avoidable on a small island and would not stop me from staying again.

Listing was very accurate with the only acceptation was the 9th and 10th person has to sleep on a blow-up mattress in the living room. All other areas of the property were great. Good beds, and very clean. the rooftop was a great place to hang out.

We loved the house and area. The pool water was always to cold to use it but it is very pretty up on the roof top. We love Isla and can't wait to return again.

This Home was perfect for five women to enjoy a week of downtime. With four bedrooms, four beds and a blowup everyone had their own space and comfort. The location on the ocean was perfect, although that is not really swimmable without having a way to get over all of the coral and rocks. But the view was outstanding day and night.
Lisa was excellent to deal with. The home was clean and ready for us upon arrival. If ever visiting Isla again, we would for sure consider this property.

We had an amazing time at this rental. Perfect for 5 - own bedrooms and bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. A/C was amazing. Rooftop views of Caribbean and bay from the pool. Lisa was responsive and provided everything needed - even helped with a golf cart rental.

Incredible views! The house is very clean, plenty of towels, toilet paper, bath and dish soap and drinking water. The property management company was excellent. We had a problem with the keys not working and they came right way. The was also a missing coffee maker in one of the suites and missing hair dryer in bedroom #2. They replaced them within a few hours.

We absolutely loved staying at Villa Tranquila. We have been to Isla Mujeres numerous times and this property was perfect for our family of six adults and two small children (2 and younger) to enjoy the beautiful island. The property is well maintained, clean, and has a wonderful layout for a large group. Additionally, the property management team was very helpful in assisting with getting golf carts, addressing any needs we had at the property, and setting up maintenance/cleaning services. We look forward to staying at this property and with this management team in the future.

This house is located right on the water. The house was very clean. Had plenty of room for 5 adults. It is all tile which gets extremely slippery and the stairs inside the house are super small. We had to really be careful since several of us have bad knees. I fell very hard coming down from the rooftop pool so I didn’t use the pool after that. I would recommend this house to rent. We had some ac issues but the property management company has guys there within minutes of the phone calls. The host answered all our questions. I would rent this house again.

Wonderful family stay at a turtle haven!
Mid July-My husband, brother and sister-in-law, son, daddy, niece and her fiancé stayed at Casa Tranquila for 12 nights. Ms. Lisa met us at the house upon arrival, pre-arranged our golf cart rentals, and made us feel safe and secure from the moment we landed. This is the FIRST time we’ve stayed in a beach rental and not had trouble with the air conditioning. Huge plus. The house is well stocked with all things needed to cook your own meals as well, which we did a lot. The maintenance crew was very responsive with the minor things needed, air bed and shower head. If you want to have groceries delivered, Ms. Lupe is incredible. Our first couple of days of food, snacks and drinks were waiting for us upon arrival. The location is centrally located with easy access to the north and south places of interest. Turtles, turtles, turtles every night right outside the door! Caribbean Brisas, La Palmitas, Mexico Lindo and Suenos de Marfil are the restaurants we chose and all were incredible and within 1-2 miles of the house. We will definitely be booking with Ms. Lisa again!

Gorgeous location
We had a wonderful time enjoying the Villa and the ease of getting whichever direction we wanted to go on the island. Lisa was communicative and extremely helpful. The ocean views and sea turtles nesting were incredible.

Beautiful trip, perfect location, amazing host
We had an absolutely magical trip. The house is beautifully situated between the north and south parts of the island, and thanks to the golf carts that Lisa helped us rent, we were able to see the whole thing. The house was absolutely perfect, and Lisa added all the right touches. Capi’s, the group that maintains and cleans the property, was so, so good.

It's a very easy five minute ride to N. beach but also a perfect jumping off point to explore the South end of the island.

Villa Tranquila met all our expectations. The home was clean, spacious, and had great views. It's the perfect location if you want to be just outside the bustle of downtown Isla. It's a very easy five minute ride to N. beach but also a perfect jumping off point to explore the South end of the island.
Lisa was exceptionally responsive to my many questions and requests. She was a pleasure to work with and could not have been more helpful.

Very positive all around. Location was great - very close to ferry and downtown and easy access to head south. Property was better than expected - especially roof with pool and lounge. Rooms were great, especially layout with center area open to beach. Beach access was also better than expected. Highly recommend. Communication and ammenities at the property were all fantastic.
