The room, showers, and toilets were clean, nice location, friendly staff.
The notice on toilets saying not to be used between 10pm and 7am because of noise for guests in rooms around that area. I understand why this could be annoying to people sleeping there, but if you need the loo, you need the loo, Lol.

Great location for walking/riding, car parking facilities, 24hr kitchen which is great for early check outs/early risers. Beds were comfy and the Staff were friendly and helpful, too.
Absolutely nothing! My experience was all thumbs up 🙂

Very clean and well kept, freindly staff, great facilities for self catering, plenty of local shops/bars/restaurants.
Not much parking, had to park in the village 5 mins walk away. Not an issue though.

Lovely location, great outside space, staff were great. Facilities are very good for a hostel and really good value for money.
Hard to find a space for a car, car park was full when I arrived and the only alternative was a tiny street nearby. Also, noticed a couple of fairly big spiders in the room, one directly above the bed.

Very friendly staff, great location and comfortable beds.
Next to a gorgeous lido which I highly recommend.
At £159 for one night (and needing to make and strip our beds… it was far too expensive.
I feel really sad that youth hostels are now charging this much.
We arrived late and there was no parking left.

location was beautiful, if a bit hilly. Friendly helpful staff who went the extra mile.
Sharing a room but it was last minute booking and we were grateful.
9.0
Convenience, cleanliness, nice staff, considerate guests
Room was quite warm overnight even with the window open in 20deg day time weather (so say about 10-13deg overnight guess), could do with a room fan. Thicker quilt was nice but no top sheet provided for alternative in warmer weather. Shower could have done with small shelf as nowhere except hooks to place things that got wet on the floor

very noisy because of people talking loudly in the corridors and slaming doors or door not closing smoothly.

Staff were good on arrival. Position of youth hostel great and try the outdoor heated pool out down the hill.
The hostel can get very noisy and so is not the best place to get a good nights sleep.
