Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Parking is available right in the building. It's a lovely old building, and the hallways are full of plants. It's a bit outdated but still very pleasant.

The rooms are a bit outdated. However, the bathrooms are renovated and work very well.

The hotel’s location is definitely its biggest advantage. It is conveniently situated in Évian-les-Bains, with a bakery right downstairs and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab something to eat. The bathroom was acceptable, although it felt a little outdated.

1. Check-in was challenging as the staff didnt speak English (he had to call someone else to translate for him). 2. Another downside is that check-in must only be before 8 PM, which is something future guests should be aware of when planning their arrival. After 8, there was no one manning the counter at all. 3. The room also had a terrible smell, which we believe may have been related to sewage repair work happening outside. 4. The hotel itself felt a little eerie, dusty and unclean, as there was an ongoing renovations. Personally, as the hotel was undergoing renovations that affect the cleanliness, comfort and health of its guests, it should have suspended bookings until the work is completed. It would have made a big difference to our overall experience. Booking.com should also take note of this to ensure property owners deliver to their portrayed quality as visitors rely on what are being shown in the booking site. While the location is excellent, convenient, and close to food options, the condition of the property during our stay was disappointing.
