The location is amazing. Perfect spot in the Marais - so easy and convenient in the best part of the Marais, with close access to the Metro as well as a fleet of waiting of taxis just around the corner.
Our room was light and airy and had a fabulous big claw foot bath, which was great at the end of a long day of sight seeing.
I want to especially mention Gwendoline on reception for her exceptional service, amazing friendliness and outgoing personality. She is a huge asset to your property. She is really bubbly and fantastic!!!!
The only fault that I can find with the hotel was the sewerage smell that seemed to ne coming up from the basement that filled the elevator :/ It seemed always present and wasn't a good first impression on arriving at the hotel unfortunately.

Location and staff was excellent nothing was too much trouble even getting our heavy suitcases up one floor to then go visit lift. Room was pretty.
Room was on the small side and no privacy to shower room.

Property is in a great location to see around Paris, Very lively area
The smell, The smell in our room was horrendous like sewers smell I brought this to the attention of the staff many times and each time they said they would look into it and they didn’t … We just had to deal with it but for that reason I won’t be staying again! Couldn’t even leave balcony door or window open as the balcony is all one so any of the rooms on that floor could easily walk out of their room and into ours. Not secure at all! Plus glass shower in room so when staying in double room you are basically showering in front of someone. Also they took £300 from my bank account 3 days before we arrived as a deposit which we were not told about and it took over two weeks to get that money back after arriving home
