The hotel gives you a little immersion into the past of Paris with retro deco. Incredible location: a 2-minute walk to great restaurants, bakeries, the Saint Germain neighbourhood, and our room had a view of Notre Dame from the window. Spacious double room for Paris standards. The girl receptionist at check-in was super nice, and Diego was accommodating and helpful!
Lots of stairs. Our room was on the last floor, and yes, we had a nice view. For us, it was nice exercise going up and down, but it could be a concern for people with less mobility, carrying luggage, or a baby pram.

We had a deluxe double which was originally for 3 of us but one had to drop out. The room was up 5 flights of stairs but was really spacious, the bathroom was huge with a big bath tub & shower & you could see half of the Notre Dame cathedral from the window. The hotel is in a fantastic location, handy for all the main attractions with plenty of bars, restaurants & coffe shops on the doorstep. It was beautiful & we wouldn't hesitate to pay a little extra to secure that room again.
Going up 5 flights of stairs isn't ideal for everyone but it wasn't an issue for us & certainly wouldn't be a deal breaker to stay again
