We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Della Torre Argentina and would absolutely stay here again. The location is fantastic. We were incredibly close to so many of Rome's major sights, and the main buses literally stop right outside the front door. It made getting around Rome extremely easy, especially since we were traveling with my 84 year old mother.
Our room was also perfect for three people. We had three actual single beds, rather than someone having to sleep on a sofa bed, and a huge bathroom. The hotel is on a very busy, noisy street, but the windows must be extremely well insulated because once we closed them, the street noise really wasn't a problem at all.
Be sure to check out the balcony on the 5th floor. It has a wonderful view over Rome and is a lovely little bonus!
What made the hotel truly exceptional, though, was the staff. My mother became ill toward the end of our stay, and Luisiana at the front desk went far beyond anything we could have expected. She helped us contact medical assistance, translated with the ambulance staff, and even accompanied us to the pharmacy to get medication for my mother. Her kindness at a frightening time meant so much to us.
The entire staff was wonderful. Sabina even made sure we had vegan pastries at breakfast, and the hotel left a birthday gift in my mother's room, which touched her enormously. These thoughtful gestures made us feel genuinely cared for rather than simply like hotel guests.
One other recommendation for vegan travelers: Buddy Veggy is just down the street and became our favorite restaurant while we were there. Asj for Davide, he will take care if you.
Wonderful location, comfortable accommodations, and truly exceptional people. 10/10. Highly recommended.
The elevators are tiny but what do you expect from a converted palace. The shower was a high bathtub which was a little difficult to get into. And, there is a curb to the bathroom threshold which we stubbed our toes on more than once.

Great location in the middle of Rome. Quick taxi ride to the colosseum and Vatican. Great market square with shops and dining within a 5 min walk. Great breakfast and the staff
Was very friendly and super helpful
There is a bus stop right in front of the front door so it was always congested. Also they use a heavily scented cleaning product to clean the room so it smelled like perfume. Our shower didn’t drain properly BUT they had someone up to fix it within 10 minutes
