The apartment is absolutely stunning. It is spacious and beautifully decorated; it’s clear that the owner takes great care of it and strives to preserve the wonderful, classy atmosphere of the original interior. The floors, high ceilings, windows, and the antique elevator in the building are all truly magnificent. Having two bathrooms also ensures great comfort, even when the apartment is fully occupied. The kitchen is fully equipped. You can always count on the owner for assistance or recommendations regarding the local area. The neighborhood itself offers plenty of shops and restaurants - in fact, the best ice cream in Rome can be found right at the entrance to the building. Do keep in mind, however, that it is a bit of a walk to the city center, as well as to the nearest metro or bus stop; for us, though, this wasn't an issue at all.
