Lovely quaint style with lovely hosts

The size of the room was great, the decor was characterful yet minimalist with a vintage mirror in the bathroom and matching wood furniture. Love the mix of light fixtures. The window shutter perfectly shut out the light, and the shared kitchen was well equipped. We were upgraded into the suite and really appreciated the kindness. Jesica popped over to see if we had any questions about Faro and the property, offered us extra towels and was really friendly.

The bathroom paint is flaking/bubbling but this is clearly from the moisture when people don't open the window after using the powerful shower

We had a great stay in Faro, perfect for the two days before our return flight to Belgium.

This was a perfect location for visiting the historic center in Faro and surroundings including the beaches.

We stayed fot 3 days and it was easy to check in and check out. The locations to see were also nearby.

Location was nice. Room was spacious and clean.

Window was toward the street so if you open it, you would hear the noise and if you don‘t it would be hot as hell. Also the parking in front was difficult.

Great stay in Faro

Beautiful, quiet and very clean triple room & bathroom. The common kitchen is very clean too & well equipped. We enjoyed our breakfast on the very big terrasse. Lots of info about Faro & transport possibilities. A perfect place, as so central and no noise from the street in the building.

To make it 100% perfect in the room It needs a small bench to put your luggage on flat and a chair to sit on

Great host, central location, clean apartment with good facilities

The location was very central, with many shops and good restaurants nearby and sightseeing points were within walking distance. The apartment was well maintained, shared kitchen was cleaned and well equipped, the patio and roof terrace were good places to sit at or enjoy a cup of tea. Pictures on the website did not do the apartment justice and things looked better when we were there. Communication with the host was excellent and instructions given were cleared. A folder was provided where we could find all information we wanted to know. We encountered some problem during our stay and the host was so kind to offer the help we needed. My partner said we would stay there again when we come back to Faro.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and nice. The common kitchen had a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, as well as all the necessary crockery, cutlery and cookware required. There was a table to eat in the kitchen, and two alfresco tables in the courtyard behind.

The property is very hard to find on Google / Google Maps. There is no signage outside, and there is another place called Casa aOrta nearby, which caused a lot of initial confusion and anxiety, as it was evening when we arrived. Look for Pastelaria Ruby / Cinderela next door or Stay Hotel opposite, to locate the place.

Great place to stay in with great value

The room is very modern and spacious. It was very tidy and clean. Including a kitchen area which can be used with other guests. The location was quite central and it was easy to check-in. The breakfast was decent.

Unfortunately the room is not sound proof, so you could easily hear the neighbors. In addition our neighbors were quite loud (also at late times).

The room was spacious.

No cleaning during our stay. Breakfast is average - despite it is written that orange juice is included, the person at the caffeteria did not agree to give it to us, only unhealthy bottled juice and in general she was not friendly.

the location was great, very close to everything you want to see in Faro

our toilet doors didn’t close properly, only my husband could close because it needed to apply a force that I wasn’t able to do it… so that needs fixing

DON'T STAY AT CASA PORTUGAL

It is located on the center of Faro

The staff made our experience very uncomfortable and they don't know how to treat properly their guests. They accused us of stealing other guests' food and threatened to call authorities without even asking what happened to us. We answered them regarding the wrong and unfair accusations and they didn't even reply. DON'T STAY AT THIS ACCOMODATION! The "included breakfast" does not have eggs nor fruits and it is on the next door bakery (Cinderella). The bakery owner was RUDE and also accused us of stealing food from the fridge in front of other customers in the shop. That was extremely unprofessional, and made us very uncomfortable that not only the accomodation, but also the bakery was accusing us of something we didn't do. The messages sent via Booking and the treatment of the staff as well as the bakery owner lacked professionalism, respect and courtesy. Pay a little extra and stay at a decent place.
