Location. Quiet. Polite staff.
Open bathroom lacked privacy and complicated staggered use (person using it disturbed sleep of person still in bed).
Unclear what the benefit is of the open bath design.
Not ‘a room upgrade’ in my mind.

1. Good location - close proximity to major public transport lines, good F&B options, low/no noise at night
2. Laptop safe provided.
3. USB charging ports provided.
4. Comfortable bed with clean sheets - although I'm not sure if the sheets were changed daily.
5. Shower : Water pressure is decent but can be further improved upon.
6. Decent hairdryer for short hair.
1. Shower floor may be slippery for the elderly. Hotel should provide non-slip mat as precaution.
2. Fridge is not cold (only to 10 degrees). Had to store cold items at the reception desk so this was inconvenient.
3. Lift access to room floors are not locked with hotel key-card, this poses a security risk.
4. There are no night light/s. As the room and bathroom is an open-plan format, turning on lights to go to bathroom may wake a room-mate.
5. Door has no safety latch/lock.

The location is good.
The room is too small, and it's not so comfortable.
