About this house rental
Private home since 1956. Renovated in 2010 with updated decor in 2019. Get a taste of “Old Florida with broken tile floors. Home contains 1600 square feet with large inviting open concept living room/ dining/kitchen. Gas fireplace for winter visitors. Screened porch with large fenced backyard, gas grill, and chiminea for those summer evenings. King master with 32 inch TV. Queen bedroom which opens into 3rd bedroom contains 2 sets of bunk beds. Ceiling fans in every room. One bathroom and outdoor shower. Laundry room with large washer/ dryer. Kitchen has coffeemaker, blender, toaster and dishes for 8. This is a completely non smoking home. If evidence of smoking found total damage deposited will be forfeited. Linens and towels for 8 provided. Beach chairs for 4 adults and 2 children, small beach umbrella, 4 beach towels available for guest use. Minimum rental age is 25. Responsible ( signing) party must be staying at the home for the length of the rental period. Violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental payments. Felt like a home away from home. Great location. Close to everything. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the little fenced in yard. The only thing else I would of liked would have been a hottub... would love to stay again.

This little house and its contents make you feel like you are staying with family. Much of the time my (adult) son and I spent reading through the books in the little bedroom library and looking at pictures. We needed quite time it was wonderful

We loved our stay at Bertie’s Beach Bungalow!! Plenty of room for 4 adults 2 teens and a dog. Backyard was perfect! We enjoyed the back patio as well! We loved having the convenience of a home and not a hotel. They have pretty much everything you need to cook and enjoy your day at the beach! The walk to the beach was very close, not far at all!! You are able to walk back to the house for a drink or go to the restroom! So nice!!! Plus you are literally minutes away from everything! Also, street is very quiet, no traffic at all! We felt very safe! We will be back!

Everything in house was great. Pups enjoyed backyard although it could use a little maintenance. A few flowers in pots out front would improve the curb appeal.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, only issue was getting the tv to work in the main bedroom. Only steps to the beach and walking distance to pineapple Willey’s. I would say that we will be back again!

My husband and I stayed for a week along with our doggos. The fenced backyard was a huge bonus so they had space to play and we didn't have to worry about hot pavement on their paws. The house is extremely close to the beach and just a short drive from everything else. Having the beach so close is great and the water is incredible! Also, when we couldn't locate beach towels, Deborah was very helpful and responsive. We definitely recommend this place 🙂 *Guests should pack paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags as these won't be provided. (A Walmart is near by as well.) We keep a clean house and an even cleaner vacation house so we did have to spend some time cleaning upon arrival, but overall we had a great trip!!

Great home, very eclectic, but a few things need checked. Never found the iron which we understood they had one. Ice maker had an issue if you pulled it out to get ice, back piece would drop down. Little things that might need addressed but we had lots of fun.

This is our 2nd time staying amd we're already planning our 3rd. Steps from the sand... close to all the local eateries and the house has a clean vintage beach vibe that's fully chill and relaxing.

All I have to say the backyard was the best thing about the property, of course the beach too is literally 50 yards away maybe not too good of numbers but yes overall state was amazing thank you guys so much definitely will be recommending you to friends and family!! Thank you the Millwoods

We loved everything about the house it was clean close easy walk to the beach the yard private and peaceful would recommend it to anyone if available next time we head to Panama city we'll be renting

This was the best place for my daughter and son-in-law and my two dogs. The dogs loved the yard. They even found a possum under the grill. If anything to mention is couldn’t find trash bags other than that it really was absolutely perfect for our vacation. Really hope to make this our go to place

This was our first time staying at Bertie’s Beach Bungalow and it was amazing… We will be back, for sure! The home is so cozy and has a perfect fenced in back yard for the pups. House was very neat and clean and the walk to the beach is so convenient!

My husband and I really needed a getaway. Bertie’s Beach Bungalow was the perfect solution! The home is adorable with all of the amenities. It also has a fenced yard which was perfect for our pups. You also cannot beat that it is literally 30 steps to the beach. What a gem. We can’t wait to come back!

Fenced back yard with lots of small lizards for chasing was a perfect for my dog. Outside lights provide nice backyard lighting. King bed was sooo comfortable. Fairly quiet neighborhood with house side facing Thomas Drive. Week times Thomas Dr is pretty quiet, weekend you can get a tiny bit of motor noise that you only hear from outside. Oh and did I mention an outdoors shower for rinsing sand?? I will be back!

Cottage was VERY easy walking to get to the exit to the beach. Neighborhood is safe and very close to Pineapple Willies over flow parking lot. Fenced back yard with lots of small lizards for chasing was a perfect for my dog. Outside lights provide nice backyard lighting. King bed was sooo comfortable. Fairly quiet neighborhood with house side facing Thomas Drive. Week times Thomas Dr is pretty quiet, weekend you can get a tiny bit of motor noise that you only hear from outside. Oh and did I mention an outdoors shower for rinsing sand?? I will be back!

Location, location, location!
Very comfortable, clean, with all the amenities. Only few steps from the beach, and the fenced in backyard a favorite of our pup. Many restaurants nearby. Also quiet. No complaints here!

My husband, two boys and their girlfriends stayed at Bertie's and it was amazing! Fantastic location to the beach, quiet, but close to everything. The pictures don't do the property justice. Tons of room for suitcases and clothes. The kitchen is stocked, great grill, beach accessories and comfy beds and furniture. CLEAN! Everything is clean! The linens, beach towels and blankets were clean and soft. The owners take the time to make the place feel like home with little extras...toothbrush, shampoo and chocolates on your pillow. We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend for anyone traveling, adults, kids and fur babies! The fenced-in back yard was such a joy for our dog Champ! He had the best vacation too! Scoop this place up before it's gone!
