Situated in Seabrook Island, this lovely house for $514 per night is a great choice for your next break. 1716 Shelter Cove Just say "WOW!" to remarkable sunsets and long marsh views!! Relaxing has never been easier than enjoying the time spent on the screened porch of this multi-level 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa. You will be captivated by the natural beauty of Seabrook Island as it unfolds before you! The villa has been renovatedfrom top to bottom. The primary bedroom is on the first level. Highlights include king bed, Smart TV, and access to a private covered deck with 2 chaise lounge chairs. The perfect place to hang out and read a book or watch for shrimp boats and kayakers. The full bath has a separate sink/vanity area and walk-in shower. There are also new full-size washer and dryer on this level for your convenience. Six steps up take you to the guest bedroom with a king bed, Smart TV and en- suite bath. This bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The next level is 8 steps up and opens up to the large living room area with vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan and Smart TV. The living room has access to the screened porch with plenty of seating and a definite coastal flair. It is hard to describe the delight of experiencing the incomparable views that the low country is famous for. Many books have been inspired by these gorgeous surroundings. Adjacent to the screened porch is a small uncovered deck perfect for soaking up some sun. Six steps up bring you to the dining area with seating for 6 and the adjacent kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with new stainless steel appliances and partially open to the living room below giving it a lofty feel. Another wonderful feature is the access to the community dock which is a peaceful place to wander and explore. There is also a neighborhood pool that is in a beautiful, private setting just down the street. This is an ideal location with easy access to the Racquet Club, Equestrian Center, Lake House and bike path. Seabrook Islands 3.5 miles of beautiful beach is just a short car or bike ride away, as well as the Beach Club and Island House. This terrific vacation property is also pet friendly for (1) dog. If you are traveling with your dog, a Pet Agreement must be signed and the additional non-refundable Pet Fee as defined in the Agreement must be paid. ** Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes. Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge. Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of the $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment. Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply. THIS PROPERTY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 GATE PASSES TOTAL Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive. Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club are included in the rent! These cards give you access to the Beach Club oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities. The Club Amenity Card also allows access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool/no fees; indoor pool/fitness center/fees apply). Cancellation Policy: If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. Such a comfortable property. My wife and I love to have getaways to Seabrook several times a year and this was our first visit to this condo. Beautifully decorated and the sunset from the back porch is nothing short of stunning. Will definitely be back.

As advertised enough space for two people . All the appliances were there to make your stay comfortable. Would stay there again . As other reviewers had indicated, this whole amenity card issue is a detriment.

We really enjoyed the property, especially the ability to watch the beautiful sunsets over the marsh and hear the dolphins splashing in it. As first time Seabrook visitors, the location was excellent and allowed us to have direct access to the Lake House for swimming (5 minute walk) and be within a short drive to multiple beach access points and the Island House and Ocean Club (each 10 minute drive). The property has four floors with some half-staircases, so it could be a bit tougher to watch small kids, but overall the stay was excellent and I would highly recommend it to others.

Beautiful Marsh Views
The Shelter Cove villa has a beautiful view of the Marsh. I loved sitting on the screened in porch in the morning hours reading, drinking coffee, and watching the tide as it came in or went out. Over our two week stay we saw the dolphins feeding in the marsh a few times. Once from the neighborhood pier where the dolphins were just a few yards away!
We (Husband and I) found the villa spacious and comfortable. Kitchen has many great items for preparing meals. The breakfast/dining area was a good spot for us to work an hour or so a day. It was nice having the washer dryer so that we could pack light as well as wash the bedding/towels a couple of times over the two weeks.
Seabrook was quite and peaceful as always. We rode bikes daily to the beach or Freshfields or just around the island. Because Shelter Cove is close to the Seabrook entrance, it was easy to stay mostly on the designated bike path.
We would definitely stay at Shelter Cove Villa again!

twin bedroom we had to buy a fan it was hot! closet was full of junk and it could not be opened my daughter had no where to unpack for the week, drains in bathrooms slow; our king bed was to twins pushed together that was not fun.

But the screened in porch was our favorite place to hang out.
PS we really enjoyed the unique and beautiful pottery Items throughout the Villa!
P.s.s. It would be an added bonus if the amenity cards were included in the rental fee.

The villa was clean, with a fully stocked kitchen, and great views and sunsets. Communication was excellent with all the information needed. One very minor maintenance issue was taken care of within an hour of a phone call. Will definitely return!

Outdoor furniture really needed cleaned due to “Pollen Season”.
The beds in guest room not comfortable at all. Note: master bedroom had two twin beds that were put together.

We had a fabulous week. The sunsets from the deck were amazing and the location was quiet and relaxing. We rented bikes for the week and biked the paths on the island to the amazing beaches that were perfect for unwinding. Exceeded expectations.
We've vacationed at Seabrook a lot with our goldendoodle Bailey and this is our favorite marsh-adjacent rental. The views--particularly at sunrise and sunset--are spectacular. And, the morning Bailey walk on the path across the street around the pond were amazing. Every morning we saw a bank of white egrets and ospreys still snoozing in the trees just before day break. Just a great place.

Shelter Cove visit
We loved the marsh views and access to dock. The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular, and we were greeted on our last morning with a rainbow over the marsh. We also kayaked from the nearby dock on the marsh, very convenient. The unit was clean, kitchen was outfitted with plenty of utensils, plates, pots, and pans. Older unit was a bit musty but attribute that to the heat and humid of being on the marsh in South Carolina. We loved using the bikes that were part of the amenity for the unit. Biking on the island is great. We couldn't use other amenities due to COVID restrictions (the dolphin watching). Overall, a great unit and great visit, and the Coastal staff were fantastic (thank you Nancy, Joe and Lisa).

Nice location in Seabrook with beautiful views and sunsets.
Condo is great location for a getaway. There’s a pool walking distance away, the heath center is at the end of the street, and the beach club is easy access. Seabrook is laidback and nice place the have a stress free vacation.
