THINGS TO KNOW Beach service is available for rent from March 31st to August 1st. These setups may block the view of the beach from your vacation rental. The two twin beds are bunks in a hallway nook Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We loved this place from the moment we walked through the door! While I wish we had been made aware of the renovations/construction, we did not let this interrupt our stay. The place was clean, fresh and had just about everything we needed. 100% would recommend Pelican Bay to others.

Great views. Enough sleeping space. Resort has 3 pools. Pull out couch not cozy but a kid will be fine on it lol. Kitchen has all basic needs, including dishes and cook ware.

Beautiful views, and has lots of potential. Needs some work however. Couch is falling apart and needs to be replaced. Carpet should be ripped out. As far as kitchen items go, everything needed was there, minus regular sized spoons which was a little awkward, but not a big deal. Sofa bed was dirty and had chips all over it. Got to the location 1.5 ish hours early and they wouldn’t let us in, even though it was empty and clean. That was a little frustrating….

My family and I had a great stay at this condo. It was clean and had everything we needed to have a relaxing and enjoyable time. While the condo was great the facility itself wasn’t the cleanest and had a few ridiculous rules. That would be my only reason for not giving 5 stars.

Molds on walls, ceilings. Dirty, damaged carpets/couch with a lot of dark stains. Most kitchen appliances are very old and almost out of services. Can't believe it's still being rented out!

Let me start off by saying i never leave reviews on anything but i believe this needs to be address for others.This was our first time staying at this resort and will probably be our last due to our room. The refrigerator did not work the entire time we were there. We spent over $300 on our groceries before we even realized that it didn’t work. There was a very small dorm size refrigerator that was also placed there so im assuming they knew the conditions of the fridge, but it was usless becuase even it did not have any shelves. We let Vascasa know the issue but we never heard anything back. There was a bad water leak in ceiling in one of the bathrooms that we had to put the trash can under to catch the water. It was very disappointing to spend that much money on a condo for our vacation and it turn out like that. The resort itself was good with alot to offer other than this room.

I vacation in Destin every year. I have stayed at this resort for many years. This was the worst experience I have ever had. 1) Refrigerator did not work the ENTIRE STAY!!! $300 worth of groceries were ruined. 2) The ceiling leaked in one of the bathrooms from the unit above. Flooded the floors in one bathroom and ceiling materials were literally falling down. 3) The carpet was DISGUSTING. You could not take 3 steps across the carpet without it staining your feet because of how filthy they were. 4) There was an exposed tack strip in the master bedroom with nails sticking out which we stepped on multiple times as I’m sure every person before us has also. Serious health risk. 5) There were multiple stains on all of the living room furniture. Disgusting large stains. 6) There was mold on almost every rooms ceiling surface. 7) Our passcode to our room was changed during the middle of our stay and we were locked out of our room for an hour while attempting to reach someone to let us back inside. 8) The pull-out sofa in the living room hardly functioned as a bed at all. Buy a real mattress. 9) Unable to get in contact with ANY property manager/owner related to any of these problems. Multiple attempts have been made with absolutely zero results. The management company Vacasa confirmed they have spoken to the property manager and made them aware of these problems and they have done absolutely NOTHING in response.

Couple of things need work. 1-Ceiling is covered in mold near AC vents 2-Carpet out of Master Bath has carpet nails poking through. Caused a slight cut on foot. 3-The couch/sleeper needs some love as it sags pretty heavily in the center.

Unit needs serious updating/maintenance. Resort facilities clean and nice. Called for help, nobody called or came to help for 7 days. Called Vacasa - they promised help the next day and never came or called again. Exterior balcony light busted, exterior handle on sliding door broke off, no mattress in sleeper couch in living room (very hard to sit on), garbage disposal didn’t work, freezer constantly dripped water to point we had to put a pan in there to catch it, 1 remote for 2 TVs, and the most horrible dirty disgusting furniture and carpet you have ever seen. Stay in another unit, couldn’t make all this up.

Everything was good. Just a few upgrades needed: master bedroom mattress, master bathroom hot water, and carpet right before entering master bathroom. Second bathroom made up for master bathroom not having the best hot water though. Will book this unit again. The view and everything else was great.

Good rate. Nice resort. Will stay at Pelican Besch Resort again just not in this unit. Carpet needs replaced. Kitchen needs complete remodel. Needs new couch and living room chair both are worn and stained. Listing said jetted tub. Tub not jetted.

Repairs required. Walls and ceilings and carpets are dirty. Conditioner and heater worked not good. They didn't keep a temperature. The refrigerator needs repair it is leaking. Pros: bed linens are clean, dishes are good. View is perfect.

The couch was wet from cleaning when we arrived still.. had to put down towels... the carpet by master bath is wearing and could feel carpet strip nails on feet which hurt... prev guests put a bunch of scuff marks on walls... could use a touch up... That said... beautiful view, place was nice overall snd great location. We had a great time thanks.
