About this house rental
Located in Kingsland, this attractive house for $1,510 per night is a great choice for your next trip. A modern style freshly renovated 3,500 square ft lake front property on Lake LBJ! The property is located in a no-wake cove off the busy lake, perfect for swimming and fishing. Dredging was recently completed in 2022 around the swim deck about 20’+ out from concrete swim deck. Depth should be about 8’+ deep or more to allow our guest to jump into the lake any style you want, however, We do ask that you do not dive in head first for your safety! There is (2) green fishing lights installed to attract fish at night, some of the best fishing happen at night! Tired of swimming in the lake? Then jump into our heated/chilled pool with attached spa. Spa is large for 6-10 guest at one time. Pool comes with a built in pool cover for the safety of our guest and is controlled via app for the duration of your stay. Heat for pool does come with an additonal fee starting at $350 for your stay, but the spa is free of additonal charge. Our home has everything included and is equipped with a boathouse overlooking the cove, and an indoor and outdoor kitchen with a propane grill. Entertainment outside includes a outdoor pool table, outdoor TV, corn hole boards, tree swings for the kids, 2 Kayak’s, 2 SUP boards, a floating swim pad and Lilly pad available for use, along with a huge furnished concrete pad for fishing/fun/sun/relaxing. On our concrete pad you will find a propane fire pit surrounded by furniture and a pergola with fans and electricity to sit back and relax and mingle near the water, if you do not desire the wood burning fire pit closer to the main home. All of this is topped off with an outdoor/WiFi Sonos stereo system that is easily accessible via any device connected to the property wide WiFi. All TV’s in the home are “smart” and in the boathouse you will find video games to play between all your water activities. Bringing your boat or Ski’s? Please let us know ahead of time so that we can arrange details for you or arrange for our boat slip to be available. Our guests will have access to a boat launch located directly in our backyard. Dock cleats are on our concrete pad for tying up as well. Jet ski and boat slips are available for an additional fee. Bringing your furry friends? Our property is 100% fenced off but will allow your furry family member into every room on the property. Additionally, pets are welcome inside just please keep them off the furniture. : ) Additional fee applies. This was a beautiful location with so many amenities, that we didn't have time to use them all. The separation of the four places (bunkhouse, boathouse, boat area, and main house) was perfect for our family reunion. We had 24 stay overnight and an additional five joined us during the day. We were together but could go off in small groups. The only negative thing was that there was no toilet in the boathouse. Other than that, perfect!

The property is perfect for a large family gathering with the main house, bunk house and boat house to spread everyone out! The outdoor space was my favorite. So much to do with all the lawn games, seating, outdoor kitchen area, docks, fishing, lake activities... Endless activities. We had all ages there and everyone was thoroughly entertained from 5 years old to 70 years old. The location was great, protected from the wind and activities from the larger lake area. The kids could be safely on the lake without the fear of boats and jet skis zooming by. The host was quick to respond to needs as well. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

We have a large family and trying to find one home to fit everyone is always a challenge. This property fit the bill nicely. We had enough beds for everyone using the pullout couch in the living room, the location was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and gave us plenty of space to spread out.
The only two downsides were the hot tub not working and there was no A/C in the boat house. There were fans, which helped, but it was very hot during the daytime hours. We stuck the kids in there though so all the adults had A/C. The hot tub wasn't ever hot and the jets didn't stay on for more than a couple minutes at a time. We had one of the kids stand on the outside and push the buttons for us to keep it going. Other than that we had no complaints.
We loved the use of the kayaks and paddle boards and the open grassy area was great for the kids to play. The fences gave us an extra sense of security since we had so many kiddos running around. It was nice to keep them contained at night and not worry about them accidentally falling into the water.
All in all, this was a wonderful find. We really love our time at Lake LBJ and this house was a great setting for our annual family vacation.

We stayed at this property as a group for a family reunion. We had a few questions before our stay and the communication with the owner was very easy, with a quick response time. The property was very clean and very accommodating for a large group. There were so many activities available for all ages. Would definitely recommend this spot for your next group lake trip!!

Beautiful property overall, cozy, clean and laid out nice, plenty of room for everyone. BUT! For the price I paid a night the property should have been impeccable with everything in working order. The outdoor kitchens were horrendous, gas grill was sooo full of grease it started on fire. Thank God no trip to the ER, the other grills were equally disgusting. Not cleaned and obviously not checked, prior to our arrival. Sonos Sound system worked sporadically, spa was out of order, due to the mosquito larvae swimming in it has been out for awhile. Notified by owner the day of our arrival that they recently been notified of malfunction on hot tub and parts were on order. According to a previous review it has been an issue for awhile.Very sad to see the lack of attention and maintenance for such a gorgeous piece of property...Huge disappointment for what I paid...

We are a college mens and womens tennis team (19 total) and stayed almost a full week. The property was amazing for us. On our rest days, we absolutely loved playing yard games on the water, kayak/standup paddle boarding, and enjoying the variety of different hangout spaces, and listening to music in the sun on the Sonos speaker system! This will be a trip we remember for a long time thanks to this space. The owner was so nice to communicate with. Hot tub ultimately never heated up during our stay, but we didn’t need and he was very helpful trying to troubleshoot it with us (I have no doubt they will address the issue). He was very nice to ask questions to about the little things as well. It’s a quiet little neighborhood but our next-door neighbors were never there so we didn’t feel intrusive. If I had to say something negative, it was a bummer to not have a bathroom in the “boat house” rooms. But honestly we didn’t think twice about it. If your group is much larger than ours, you will certainly be on the extra mattresses they have on the floor in the main area. Loved this amazing place!

Our family stayed here as we prepared for our son’s wedding in the Hill Country! It was a fabulous experience! We had a large group and it was no problem to offer a place to everyone vs. them having to find a hotel!
It was phenomenal! It was very spacious, had several amenities, such as a fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, corn hole games, a pool table, and a beautiful fishing dock! We roasted s’mores, drank coffee in the mornings on the dock, and enjoyed beverages around the fire pit at night. The beds were very comfortable, living room space was great for those who wanted to watch television, and a lot of room for cooking!
We had to communicate a few times with the owners while there. Their responses were prompt and welcomed! We stayed through New Years and they even let us pop fire crackers!
And don’t forget to say “hello” to the neighbors! They are so kind and helpful for any additional questions regarding the neighborhood!
We loved our time at this house, and look forward to booking again at some point!

With near record low temperatures, we were unable to participate in outdoor activities, but there was plenty of room in the main house for all of our family to get together and cook, play games, open Christmas presents, and enjoy each other’s company!

This home had it all. All the kitchen things you could need, blender, toaster oven, keurig and a coffee maker. The waterfront was awesome! So many seating options outside. Plenty of parking for the six cars we had, we could have had more and it would be ok. I would definitely stay there again!

The neighbors are friendly and the area is very quite at night. The house sleeps 20 we had 18. There was plenty of room for all.
The owners are great and seem like great people. They were readily available to answer any questions we had.
After all of this rambling the point is “THIS IS A GREAT PLACE!” If you have a big group this is the place for you!

For a more expansive area, boat 20 mins up to Horseshoe Bay on the Colorado. We would definitely stay at Northshore #2 again. 18 people slept comfortably and the outdoor seating was great even when temps reached 98 thanks to the ample shade on the dock and under the trees.

We had a great stay here and for the most party everything went well. The master bedroom bed literally fell apart while I was laying on it one of the days, luckily no injuries. On top of that we were charged an unreasonble repair fee by the property manager to replace a string of lights. One of the trees on the property has some lights on it and the kids broke a bulb or two while playing at the tree. The property owner charged us $300+ to repair the bulbs. The charge was to pay some individual to drive 3 hours to the property restring the whole set of lights, rather than to just replace the individual bulb or two for $20 themselves. Wouldn't stay here again for that reason.
