Lovely big bed, lovely big bathroom, secure garden so our dog could get off the lead on their lawn.
More of a suggestion than a dislike maybe a magnifying mirror for shaving?

This is my second stay at The Retreat and there has been upgrades! The bed has a huge fluffy throw that you could literally wrap yourself up in and just melt away. An extra heater has been added in, and my favourite.. an air fryer. Who does life without an air fryer? As always everything was fantastic and even though I didn’t need anything due to staying before I met the host in passing when arriving and we had a little chat. Dagmara was really friendly to chat to and assured me if I needed anything to send a message or call.
Thank you, I will for sure be back.
There was nothing I didn’t like, the place is amazing… Some works going on at the back of the property but it was kept quiet during my stay.

We stopped here on both our journey north from London to the highlands and on the way home.
On the way north we only stopped for one night but we realised there was more to explore, so we made our return stay longer.
Dagmara was a wonderful host and all members of our party enjoyed meeting her

Beautiful surroundings inside and out, attention to detail second to none!!
Comfortable, gorgeous and well equipped.
Internet for streaming on TV a little glitchy (minor issue)
