This was easily my favorite place I have stayed on the island! It's your own little getaway within a getaway. Clean, excellent location, so much great outdoor space, and the renters were responsive and kind. Highly recommend and we will certainly stay again.

We stayed for a week with our two dogs. We had the best vacation to date with our family at the Hidden Treasure. Communication with the owners and just everything about the place was such a great experience. Would highly recommend this property to anyone. We are so glad we stayed here!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Hidden Treasure! The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The golf cart and the extra beach equipment were an amazing bonus - We had a great time playing cornhole, eating dinners on the back deck and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit.

Our family of four adults with two Goldendoodles just spent four nights at Jon and Carol’s home. Very comfortable, clean properly with all amenities provided that we needed. The golf cart was a fun alternative to go out to eat, or make a grocery run. It’s also a very quick two-block walk to the beach from the house. We’ve vacationed many different places in Florida and have never been anywhere as dog-friendly as SGI. Having the choice to take our dogs almost everywhere, including the beach, made for a very fun getaway. Thank you, Carol and Jon, for helping us make some very fun family memories.

Perfect location for spending quality time with kids and grandkids. Plenty to do, close enough to the beach to get there quickly with it having to worry about the kids running out to the ocean at all times of the day. Beach area was secluded and not crowded. The island had so many fun things to explore. We hope to stay longer next time for sure.

You can't appreciate what a wonderful place Hidden Treasure is until you actually arrive. Great location, wonderful deck and screened in porch plus privacy! We enjoyed our stay in this well appointed vacation home on St. George Island.

This beach cottage was very welcoming, clean and located on a quiet street just steps from the beach. It’s less than a mile from the lighthouse and stores and about a 4 minute walk to a beach walkway. Everything we needed was supplied and we also really enjoyed the deck and screened porch.

We had a wonderful time! The children enjoyed all the activities inside and outside the house, including the beach which was only a short distance away. Loved the golf cart. The house was charming, well equipped and clean. We carried home lots of good memories!

Stayed here over 4th of July after rv’ ing at the state park. Pull through driveway was convenient for towing small camper or boat. Place was great. Reminded me of an old school 80’s beach house. Felt kinda like a secluded tree house when blinds were open. Felt private considering location; could really only see one house. Game room was a blast and golf cart nice too. Only wish it had more range but still fun. Owners were great to respond with a couple questions I had.

We loved everything about our trip. The property was super clean with great amenities (my daughter loved the outdoor shower after the beach)! The use of the golf cart made going back and forth to the beach a breeze! We are already planning our next trip and will stay again!

We loved our stay here and at SGI! Such a great spot for families . The house was wonderful. The living room was very spacious, perfect for my 2 year old to play. The house is also stocked with children’s books and games which my daughter loved! The beds were queen sized and very comfortable. The downstairs (under the house) was even better. The game room was nice and there are 2 wooden swings perfect size for small children and and an infant swing there. When we were not at the beach my daughter wanted to be swinging! The golf cart was a life saver. Such a convenient way to get around the island and to the beach. Everything is a short distance from the house. Maybe 2 mins to beach and 3-5 to the center of town. The downstairs also has an outside shower with a rain shower head and it was super relaxing to wash off after a long day at the beach. Very good spot for family vacay!

The owners were very accommodating and promptly responded to any question. The House was wonderful! It came with everything you need to make a beach trip fun. All sorts of beach gear and games were provided. The golf cart that was included made island travel easy. The house was super clean and the beds were so comfy. The kitchen was fully equipped. The home has an outdoor deck and screened porch which made for great evenings with the sound of the waves in the background. The owners have thought of everything in this property. I would definitely rent this home again.

Small island vibe was great! Didn't seem busy at all given it was spring break for many in the Atlanta area. The house is in a great location, a side road with very little traffic. Right off the beach access road. Golf cart ran great as advertised.

The property was great for us. Short walk to the beach and easy access. Beach not busy—had it mostly to ourselves! Great for the dog and neighborhood quiet. Lounges on the deck for sitting in sun. Fully equipped kitchen. We cooked almost all meals in house. Foot wash and outside shower very handy. We wish we could have stayed longer. Floor got really sandy no matter what we tried. Maybe a few more throw rugs would be nice. But we have nothing but good things to say about the property all in all.

Spur of moment beach trip from Muscle Shoals to get some sun and warmer weather along with the healing of the beach and ocean. Carol was very responsive and everything was easy. The house was very clean and I’m a clean freak. My expectations were exceeded and the house very comfortable for me and my husband and our 4-legged Bella. A short walk to beach and the street was very quite. The house is nestled in Florida foliage which gives you even more privacy and the wrap around deck and screened porch an added plus. We would stay here again.
