All the facilities were first class especially the restaurant areas, food was exceptional quality and not over priced. Brilliant rooftop bar. Excellent staff.
The main problem is the lack of transport in the area to allow you to visit the main towns especially San Giulio. No buses, impossible to book a taxi the only option is the water ferry which runs twice a day with the last sailing 1835. So this prevents you from having an evening out in San Giulio. It would be helpful if the hotel provided a shuttle bus. The lack of transportation would be the only reason we would not return to this exceptional family run hotel.

Good location in Orta lake, hotel is well kept, I got a room overlooking the lake and it was excellent. Very comfortable bed, very good A/C. The pool and rooftop were very nice. Overall, nothing more to want.
I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't charged on the first night I missed due to flight being late and car hire closed after midnight.
Nothing to complain about...
