The check in & out procedures and security process was great. The room itself was bigger than i though. I used my own bedding sheets and bath towels so i don't know if they were clean or not. The bathroom was clean and seems to be recently remodeled. Room with A/C. Great price. I've got my deposit refunded 4 days after my checkout. (I recommend everyone to take checkin & checkout pictures just in case). Responsive team through chat. Hot shower.

the fournitures were very old, dirty and with marks of coffee cups, they definitely needs to be replaced or at least repainted. The room was dirty, marks on the carpet, A/C dirty. Didn't provide garbage bags, we stayed there for 2 nights and we wanted to empty it multiple time but there was just one.

I took photos of bugs crawling on our pillows and bed. The rugs smell and are filthy. I stayed here before and made the same complaints last time. I would have thought you would have rectified these problems by now, but apparently NOT!

I was visiting a friend and needed a place to stay and gave it a shot, was very happy. Rob is a great guy, polite and made me feel safe with the way he responded. The beds are a cool style, very comfortable, ac works great and the LOCK ON THE DOORS ARE SAWEEEET! First timer with this and glad I picked this place on Ludlow.

Negative is the parking, finding a spot is a pain but it's the city life.

The apartment is located on a very seedy, run-down block. You will feel a sense of urgency to get into the apartment just for your SAFETY.

Oui on Ludlow / TabbyTown Rentals is a Filthy, Dirty place to stay with a Dishonest host!!! I only booked a room at Oui on Ludlow because of the low price. Here is my WARNING: They can change so little because they know they will make up for it by RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. The $104 damage deposit fee (for a room; the fee is $208 for the apartment) should be a BIG RED FLAG because Oui on Ludlow will find an EXCUSE to keep all of your deposit money. The second you step inside you will realize that you are in a filthy, dirty place because you tried to save money. When I open the door to my room (Room 1B) I immediately noticed that the carpet was very DIRTY. It looked like no one has vacuumed the carpet in the room. Ever. There were ANTS crawling on the walls, the bed mattress, and around the kitchen sink. There appeared to be yellow URINE stains on the bedding, URINE stains on the bathroom wall, and black burn marks on the bathroom towels. I received this text abt. 6 hrs. after checking out: "“The cleaners did reported a clogged toilet on the room where you checked out (see image below). We will have to charge a cost of $100 in total, that's for the unclogging service, as the standard cleaning fee doesn’t cover them. We will use your deposit for this. Therefore, there will be NO damage deposit refund.” I told Oui on Ludlow / TabbyTown Rentals that since they were charging me $166 for services charged by a plumber, I would like to speak to the plumber. This was TabbyTown Rentals’ response: “This transaction is between us and the Express Drains only. I'm afraid they won't entertain you as there will be confidential information that is not allowed to be disclosed.”

Access proved confusing unnecessaroly complicated. Too many codes...conf code..door code room code. Not very clear that deposit could only be paid via cash app pay pal or venmo. Took 90 min to get into room ( haf my fault cuz of paypal delays) Check out (@ booking) said 12 noon..day of told door/room codes end at 1115a.

as a way to improve comfort I’d recommend to add a bedside table/closet/shelf in the room.

the key pad entry was very easy the bathroom was modern and clean the bed comfortable

Nothing in room but a bed. Room hadn't been vacuumed. I could see previous spills on the walls that hadn't been wiped down and there was a dead fly smashed onto a wall hanging. No heat in room or bathroom. The kicker is the $100 security deposit.

Although a bit too small, the shower was perfectly functional and had good pressure and hot water. Getting in was super easy as you just need to enter a code, so it was quite a relief not worrying about losing the key. The internet speed was also good. There are nearby bus stations with a few options of busses going downtown and connecting you to different areas. If you love walking like me, I'd recommend walking during the day and taking transportation at night as it can be a little too deserted and you may encounter more drunkards and homeless people after 9pm.

The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The room was covered in a gray carpet that seemed like it had never been cleaned. It had dust, dirt, and countless spots. The window and the blinders had a thick layer of dust as well. And the AC was placed in a very weird way that could let cold air into the room. The latter was too cold, especially for my friend who had already been sick. One night, the AC was at 62°, which was too cold for the end of November. So, I reached out to the property manager asking if it could be fixed at 75° at least, I was told this would be done the following morning as there had been no one at the property at the time. However, the following day, we were surprised to see that the issue hadn't been resolved. (FYI, the unit controller was in a locked box, so we couldn't change the temperature on our own.) We were leaving anyway, so we thought it was pointless to talk to the managers again just to get the same answers. Moreover, the room had only a bed, no desk and no chair for those who need to work remotely. It was too small, and I couldn't bear staying there for more than just sleeping. It lacked space and coziness.
