This 4-bed, 2-bath abode is ideal for welcoming up to 8 guests at a time. Close to area attractions while still providing the privacy travelers crave during a getaway, Colorful Cactus is an amazing place to hangout and relax and immerse yourself in comfort and style! The Colorful Cactus was renovated to create a comfortable 4 bedroom/2 bath house. With a full kitchen, open living and dining area and sliding doors to the cozy backyard with propane BBQ and hot tub. • THE SPACE There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 8 people; BEDROOM 1 - King Bed BEDROOM 2 - 2 Twin Beds BEDROOM 3 - Queen Bed BEDROOM 4 - Queen Bed Large Living Area Large Lounge Couch is Great for a Movie Night and Relaxing with Family and Friends Dining Table and Open Kitchen for 8 people to Enjoy a Meal Together • THE OUTDOORS The Property has a Fenced in Front Yard Patio Propane Fire Pit Propane BBQ grill Hot Tub to Enjoy the Night Sky Cozy Backyard • OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Professionally managed by Hi-Desert Dwellings • RENTAL AGREEMENT There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation • DEPOSIT We do not charge a security deposit. We welcome you and your guests to come to the property without an added security deposit or any extra holds of funds. You will not have to worry about any additional charges for accidental damages! • A/C / HEAT The Colorful Cactus is cooled by mini splits in each room. This will help keep the house cool during warmer desert days and warmer during those chilly nights. • HOT TUB The hot tub is set up to automatically filter so you may hear it turning itself on and off. That is totally normal. The hot tub guy comes every Wednesday to service the hot tub. He wont need to come inside but he will go around the side of the house. • FIRE Due to the location and a current open fire ban there is a strict no outside wood burning fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, using fireworks or other open fire means your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave. WE DO HAVE A PROPANE FIRE PIT FOR YOUR USE AND ENJOYMENT. • IDENTITY VERIFICATION You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above. We can connect you to a local hiking guide who can plan a trip based on your preferences and the best part.. many times the hikes begin right from your front door! • PRIVATE IN-HOME MEDITATION, REIKI & SOUND BATHS Connect with your soul during your desert stay. Experience a private or small group session of kundalini yoga, meditation, and/or sound bath by private teacher and energy guide. Reiki energy alignment sessions also available. We met my daughter and grandkids here for wonderful vacation! We used all the amenities and enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen. It was so helpful to have two full bathrooms! We will fondly remember sitting around the spacious table, hanging out on the roomy couch, and gazing at the stars from the hot tub. Highly recommend!

For us, the place was perfect. Good sized place with plenty of room to chill out. And, it's a very short drive to a few places to eat, get coffee, etc. Made for an excellent weekend!

This house was great for us girls visiting. Our plan was to visit Joshua tree as much as possible and we were so close it was easy. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was great.

We checked in and check all our rooms and my sister found a clump of hair still in the shower on the drain. I found a stain that I’m hoping is ketchup and not blood on one of the pillows. The blinds in the master room didn’t work and were broken. Just expected more for paying that much money especially for our birthday.
