About this house rental
Nestled in Music Row, this lovely house for $342 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Full of Charm! Make your trip to Nashville the very best when you stay at The Chester. This recently renovated four-bedroom home was once owned by Country Music legend Chester "Chet" Atkins and is located on Music Row and only minutes from downtown Broadway and a couple of blocks from Vanderbilt U. Will sleep up to 12 with 3 bedrooms on the second floor one large bedroom on the third floor. We offer self-check-in with electronic locks so no messing with keys! Each group is assigned a unique lock code that expires upon departure for your safety and security. This home has all new appliances, fixtures, bathrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen to prepare meals and serve up to 12 guests. Full set of cookware, rotating Belgian waffle maker, griddle, mixer, and crockpot. Beverage station includes an under-the-counter ice machine off the dining room, bar tools, and an assortment of beverage glasses needed for almost any occasion, along with a blender and multiple coffee makers (drip, Keurig, and Nespresso for you aficionados). There is a private drive and a parking area for several vehicles behind the house. For safety and security, please be advised there are security cameras at the front and rear of the house, exterior only. Also, there is a building at the rear of the property that is separate from this listing. It houses two apartments on the upper floor, but you will not interact with them. Their entry and parking is off the alley on the other side of the building. ATTENTION LOCAL GUESTS: All locals must send an 'inquiry' first using the 'Contact Host' option in the booking page to inform their interest in booking the listing, so we could check if we would be able to accommodate your stay, otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel any confirmed reservation made without our approval. NOTE: Early check-in or late check-out are only possible if the booking calendar allows as we have many back-to-back bookings. Requests must be approved on a case-by-case basis, and most often we won't know until the day before your arrival if early check-in is possible.

Five of my friends and I had a weekend getaway in Nashville. We rented the Chester and it was amazing! The house is spacious and has several areas to congregate and hang out. There were plenty of bathrooms for our group, so everyone had some privacy. The beds were very very comfy, and everything was so clean! Susan was easy to reach and made sure our stay was awesome. Uber and Lyft are familiar with the area, and delivery drivers too. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend!

Beautiful house in excellent location.
Exactly as described on vrbo site. Would definitely stay again, cool history and Nashville vibe. Easy walk to Restaurants and stores. Check out The village tavern if you like local dive bars, ask whats in the crockpot!
Host was helpful, and quick to respond if we needed anything.

Our family had a great stay at Chester House for our son's wedding. The house is clean and comfortable and in an excellent location. Close to Vanderbilt and Broadway and a short drive/uber ride anywhere else. We had a few questions along the way and the hosts always responded very quickly. Will stay again the next time the whole family goes to Nashville!

The 23rd Girls Weekend (GW) in Nashville was super! We're eight long-time friends, age 55+ - most of us enjoyed our first-time visit to Nashville. The Chester was a comfortable gathering space, with a central location for launching to NVL's attractions. We had a few meals in the house and also appreciated Susan's recommendations for restaurants within walking distance. Thanks for the memories!

Good house. Owners were very responsive to our needs. Very clean, all the amenities we needed. The only negative I can say is, it has very creaky, noisy floors. No sneaking around for sure.

What a wonderful place for a family weekend get away! The location is safe, quiet and convenient to the theater and other great attractions. The house is impeccably clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The layout offers tons of space for everyone. Parking is ample and off street. We couldn't have been more pleased! When in Nashville, there is no better place to stay and we will definitely be back! Thanks!

We get together once a year and decided this year we would add a special trip to Nashville. This lovely home was the best part. Impeccably clean, no detail on comfort was left out. Nestled just outside of downtown, we all looked forward to wrapping up a fun filled day in this home. We are already looking at dates to hopefully return next year!

This house was amazing and perfect for our Football Weekend. Location provides easy access to Vandy stadium and Broadway. House was clean and property managers were very attentive to everything we needed during our stay. Great house!

The home is as described. The third level stairway is very hot and makes keeping the third level bedroom cool - which was noted in the arrival notes. The patio cushions were not on the furniture but stored on top of the washer/dryer which made that space feel quite cluttered. We appreciated the generous supply of travel amenities in the bathroom. Convenient driving location to access all areas of Nashville.

We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go within about 5-10 minutes. Stayed at the Chester fir my Granddaughter's 21st BD. The house was perfect in every way! The house was in a great location. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy Uber/Lyft to everywhere. The house was spotless and well equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend the Chester while in Nashville you will not be disappointed! The owners Ron and Susan were very responsive with any questions i had before and during our trip😊

This is an excellent property for groups, located in a great area that is close enough to all the fun parts of Nashville but still in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts are very accommodating and I would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood. Walking distance to some restaurants and a short drive downtown. A group of 6 of us stayed at the house with plenty of room for all of us. Only small issue was water pressure in the upper showers. But a great place we plan on coming back to!!!

My family and I stayed in the house for a long weekend on our first visit to Nashville. The house is beautifully decorated and was sparkling clean. The kitchen was well equipped, the laundry and the porch were great. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was good quality and very inviting. We walked to bars and coffee and limited groceries. The location was good to go to downtown quickly or out west. We would definitely stay again if we returned to Nashville.

The house was outstanding! The location made it easy to go everywhere we had hoped to go and more. The layout of the house was great for our group. We made use of most the amenites, which were plentiful. But possibly the best thing was the communication and care showed by the property managers. I was given help with general area information immediately upon reserving the property. We had an amazing week in Nashville! We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

This house was perfect for our group of 8. We had plenty of room and it was stocked with everything we needed for our stay, all the way down to extra toothbrushes, razors, toothpaste, etc….if needed. The location was beautiful and quiet yet only 10 minutes from downtown. The house was beautiful but my favorite part was the private driveway and the huge parking space in the back. It’s hard to find that in Nashville. The communication with the host was great as well. I will return to this house again, if I have a big group.

Had a fabulous time at The Chester! House fit our needs perfectly. The location is ideal for doing everything Nashville and beyond. We enjoyed being able to walk to Vanderbilt, coffee, and wine! The house was roomy, clean, and comfortable. All the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. And we were pleased to have parking behind the house...felt very safe!

Great spot, stayed in Nashville over a dozen times and loved being so close to the colleges. We took long walks every morning around the neighborhoods, enjoyed coffee with our family in the morning before taking off for adventures. And the parking was great.
House has a ton of charm remaining from the original and just a nice spot to land for a few days.

We were in town for my son’s graduation. We had family and friends come and this place worked out perfectly. Driveway and parking was perfect for friends to drop in. The house has been beautifully renovated and had no complaints. Everyone that visited commented on how nice of a place it was. Very happy with the property and the hosts were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We were a group of 4 adults who used the rental in order to attend a conference at Music City Center. It was a great location, easy to walk to some amazing restaurants as well as Broadway, and was perfect for us to do some working meetings together in the dining room. The hosts went above and beyond to help us prepare for our arrival including providing lots of helpful recommendations for all of our needs. Truly a wonderful experience. Thank you!

From the minute we booked the property we knew we chose the right place. Ron and Susan reached out to introduce themselves and ask a little about our trip. She gave suggestions and talked a bit about the area. It was such a nice touch. We really felt welcomed.
The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything you need. Really appreciated the makeup remover wipes! We loved all the Nashville touches and took a lot of photos. The beds!!! Oh my goodness they were som comfortable. We commented on how well we slept each night.
There is so much room in this house. We had seven people in our party and never felt on top of each other.
The location was perfect. We were close to everything. We went to Nashville for our Holiday tradition of seeing the Pentatonix concert and the venue was not far at all. The house is close to music row, restaurants, and tons of activities. You will not be disappointed!
