Whether for a summer getaway, a winter vacation, or a short break in between—the SONNENWEG 42 vacation home offers over 100 square meters of space for up to 6 people and your furry friend, providing the perfect setting for a truly relaxing vacation.
The retreat areas. Three bedrooms with box-spring beds are available here for restful sleep and sweet dreams. A TV, plenty of space for your vacation wardrobe, and blackout curtains are standard features. The Freshness & Rejuvenation Areas. 2 bathrooms—shower, spa shower, bathtub, and sauna. Here, wellness and refreshment become a completely private treat. The gathering spots. Terrace with a lake view. Living/dining area with a lake view, electric fireplace, stereo system, and TV. The weather? Doesn’t matter!
The connoisseur’s haven. The high-quality kitchen area is equipped with everything you need for culinary masterpieces, including a dishwasher and a combination oven/microwave. Why not get creative…
Connecting to the outdoors. Two inflatable SUP boards are ready for your active adventures. Wi-Fi, 2 parking spaces right next to the house for small cars (a large (public) parking lot is about 10 meters from the house). Your starting point for hikes, mountain bike tours, winter sports, swimming, SUP, boat, and canoe trips.

For arrivals within 5 days, we accept only payments via real-time bank transfer. Winter sports, water sports, swimming, fishing, hiking, and biking… The Sauerland is perfect any time of year. Just a few minutes’ drive away, a little off the beaten path from the tourist hotspots of Willingen and Winterberg, lies the small village of Heringhausen, nestled in the midst of a lush green natural area and situated directly on the beautiful Lake Diemel. Whether you’re seeking peace and quiet, an active vacation, or a family getaway, you’ll experience breathtaking views and unspoiled nature on certified hiking trails and designated mountain bike and cycling routes. For day trips, crystal-clear streams and romantic villages with historic buildings in the immediate vicinity are waiting to be discovered by you. Heringhausen and Lake Diemel are still (!) considered an insider’s tip.

Everything was perfectly clean and beautifully furnished. The only thing missing was another armchair in the living room. The house is designed to accommodate up to 6 people; there were four of us. Two people can easily sit on the couch in the living room; there’s also an armchair and a stool without a backrest. That wasn’t comfortable—it just lacked the backrest. Any additional guests would have to use the chairs. We did a lot of sightseeing, as the attractions were mostly within a radius of about 25 km.

A beautiful apartment with a great view! The beds are simply fantastic! Comfortable chairs for long game nights with friends around the table! The sauna is a must in November—and it’s fantastic! We were a group of 6 friends and really enjoyed our time there! We were missing some glasses, so we called the property service, and they delivered them within 4 hours! Thank you so much!

In dem modernen Ferienhaus haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Umgebung (Diemelsee, Willingen) bietet viele Möglichkeiten, sich aktiv im Herzen des Sauerlandes, welches wir zuvor noch nie besucht hatten, zu betätigen. Dank der umfangreichen Ausstattung wurden auch die zwei Tage, in denen Sturm Hendrik Außenaktivitäten stark einschränkte, nicht lang.
Etwas störend war lediglich der Lärm der Baumaschinen. Da diese aber überwiegend in entfernteren Bereichen der Ferienhaussiedlung tätig waren und nur häufiger am Haus vorbeifuhren und da dieser Umstand in der Beschreibung des Ferienhauses angegeben war, geben wir hierfür keine Abzüge in der Bewertung.
