About this apartment rental
The apartment is located at Vicolo della Guardiola No. 24, in the heart of Rome, right in the historic center, on the third floor of a 19th-century building without an elevator, just a few dozen meters from the Pantheon and the historic Piazza Navona, with the major historical and archaeological sites—such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Vatican, and the city’s many monuments—all within a few minutes’ walk.
The apartment features an entryway leading to a spacious open area that includes the living room, furnished with two large sofas and a cozy Chesterfield reading chair. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped open-concept kitchen with all the necessary appliances for a comfortable culinary experience (dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, large refrigerator, sink, Nespresso coffee machine, American-style coffee maker, traditional Italian coffee maker, kettle, dishes, pots, etc.). The space is completed by a large antique dining table that comfortably seats six.
The living room leads to the sleeping area, which is separated by a door. On the right is the first bathroom—very large and equipped with all amenities. The bathroom includes a washing machine, so you can wash, dry, and iron your own laundry.
Continuing down the hallway, you’ll find the first bedroom, furnished with two single beds that can be joined to form a double bed or left separate. It features a very large antique wardrobe, two antique chairs, and two footstools.
Further along is the second master bedroom with a double bed and its own full private bathroom, accessible directly from the room. The furnishings include a large antique wardrobe, a vintage bench, and chairs. The room opens onto a charming little terrace furnished with a table and two chairs—perfect for enjoying a great cup of coffee first thing in the morning while soaking up the atmosphere of Rome’s historic buildings.
The house is equipped with an independent heating and hot water system; all rooms feature hot/cold air conditioning, high-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi, a TV, and all safety equipment required by law.

If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience this is it. We stayed here 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is spacious, beds are large, and it feels very authentic. Two bathrooms/showers, a lounge/living space, washing machine - everything you'd need. The location is great, just a couple minutes to the Parthenon, just a bit further to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Only two negatives: 1. The air conditioning works well but is slow to cool off in the back/master bedroom and the owner wants you to leave it off when you aren't there. 2. The 60 stairs were fairly brutal carying the bags but but it was just once up and once down so not really that big of a deal. I would definately stay here again.

A wonderful apartment in a brilliant location. Moments away from the Pantheon, lots of restaurants and gelato shops, close to supermarket. We walked everywhere, approx 30 mins to Vatican and Collosseum, but metro isn't far if you want to use that. Roberto is a wonderful host, prompt and clear communication and he was very happy to answer our questions even our silly ones (which we did have). We are travelling for 7 weeks so we appreciated the space in the lounge and eating area as well as the washing machine. It was a great space to come back, relax and escape the heat for a few hours before headed out again. We would definitely stay here again.

Few problems with power; as it couldn’t cope when you had air conditioning going and turned kettle on; also drainage in shower not great!!
