For a weekend or a few days, enjoy the charm of a cottage of character in the heart of the Loire Valley castles region, at the crossroads of Sologne, Touraine and Berry, in the immediate vicinity of the Beauval zoo-park.
In an exceptional setting, the Grand Beaumont cottage is an old farmhouse restored to an authentic style and fitted out to accommodate up to 19 people with all modern comforts. Associated with other large cottages that we have in the same town (Domaine de Bonneuil, Domaine du Petit Beaumont), we can accommodate larger groups.
In all seasons, we welcome you for a stay based on a change of scenery, relaxation, and well-being thanks to its large indoor and outdoor spaces – large swimming pool covered with a low shelter and heated from May to September, large dining room, several lounges and games areas: American billiards, table football, ping-pong table – and the possibilities of walks in the heart of a preserved nature and game at the very door of the cottage: plain roe deer, hares, partridges, etc.

Due to its location, many tourist and sporting activities are possible: visits to the region, its exceptional sites (Beauval zoo-park), its castles (Chenonceau, Chambord, Cheverny, Valençay, Amboise, Chaumont, Blois), bike rides, canoeing, very beautiful 18 or 27-hole golf courses nearby.
The Residence:
The layouts of the house and its surroundings have been designed to best meet the needs of our guests and make them want to come back and discover other aspects of our beautiful tourist and gastronomic region.
We have chosen to adapt the entire first floor and the surroundings of the house in order to be able to accommodate people with reduced mobility. One bedroom has been specially fitted out with its appropriate shower room and toilet.
The many glass openings allow you to take full advantage of the natural light, helping to create a very warm atmosphere in each of the spaces.
Underfloor heating is on the first floor and upstairs.

The first floor is composed of: 1 large living room of 72m², 1 kitchen/dining room of 60 m², 1 back kitchen, 2 bedrooms with their private bathroom, 1 reading and game area, 1 guest toilet and 1 laundry room.
The first floor consists of: 1 large relaxation area / TV lounge, 6 bedrooms each with their private bathroom with toilet.
The living room with a large decorative fireplace, American billiards, soft armchairs and sofas will allow the older ones to spend pleasant and warm evenings while the youngest can watch a film or play table football in the other lounges and relaxation areas.
The kitchen, open to the dining room, and the back kitchen, has been designed to make this space a perfectly equipped friendly place. In addition to a wide choice of utensils and small appliances, you will find 2 ovens and 1 microwave, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer. In addition, you will find in the laundry room 1 washing machine, 1 dryer and ironing facilities.
Each of the bedrooms has 90×200 beds that can be perfectly paired to convert into a 180×200 double bed. Baby cots can be made available on request, as well as a changing table.
Particular care has been taken with the bedding, which we wanted to be of high quality and adaptable to the size of the bed in order to offer you a pleasant sleep.
The bathrooms are equipped with either a bathtub/shower or a shower in order to best meet the needs and tastes of young and old.

"Squirrel Room": Located on the first floor, it has a window to the east and a French window to the west opening directly onto the swimming pool. It has 2 beds 90×200 that can be transformed into a bed 180x200. Its private bathroom includes a countertop with 2 sinks, a bath / shower and a toilet.
"Mouflon Room": Located on the first floor, it has a French window to the west opening directly onto the swimming pool. It has 2 90×200 beds that can be converted into a 180x200 bed. Its private bathroom adapted for people with reduced mobility includes a countertop with 2 sinks, a shower with seat and lift bar and a toilet.
