Idyllically situated, the Pletzerlehen is far from traffic noise yet in close proximity to the German High Alpine Road—one of Germany’s most popular vacation routes. Spacious and high-quality vacation apartments with balconies and private bathrooms in each bedroom, combined with attractively designed outdoor areas, offer an ideal starting point and a haven of peace for your vacation. Built in 1387, the Pletzerlehen stands as a testament to the first wave of settlement in the Berchtesgadener Land region. Between 2016 and 2018, the Pletzerlehen was completely modernized and redesigned. As part of this project, the vacation apartments were renovated to the latest standards and an elevator was installed. The original farmhouse parlor, dating back to 1748, was preserved in its original condition and now serves as a cozy lounge and conference room. Enjoy your vacation in a historic building offering a high standard of living.
The ALPENZAUBER vacation apartment, with its antique artifacts and historical pictures, offers a glimpse into the traditional way of life on an Upper Bavarian farm. Let yourself be enchanted by the nostalgia! Of course, you still don’t have to forego the high level of comfort expected of a modern vacation apartment. Box-spring beds in the bedrooms, separate bathrooms with bathtubs, a spacious living area with a private south-facing balcony, and a fully equipped built-in kitchen leave nothing to be desired and invite you to linger. With 80 square meters of living space, you’ll enjoy your vacation from the first day to the last. The use of natural materials—such as hand-hewn, moon-cut wood or natural stone—pays homage to days gone by and creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The spacious living area with a flat-screen TV offers relaxation even when the weather is inclement. If you’re looking for something even more rustic, you can also rent the former apiary—complete with its own wood-burning stove—for a game night or a birthday party. Just talk to us—we’re happy to assist you with advice and support. For two guests, one bedroom is available; the second bedroom can be used for an additional fee. An extra bed is available upon request from the landlord.
