The breakfast should be improved as it is similar to what you find in hostels. I think it was an ugly detail that they charge to keep the luggage after check out.

Good things first - the staff were great.
However, we had major problems. They were not able to provide us with key cards and systems we down. We were given keys from apologetic staff.
Without key cards I had no electric or air con in my room. Fortunately we were checking in late so just crashed into bed but it was the hottest day of the year so far!
Not a great nights sleep because of this and the beds were rather hard. The only light working in the room was the key card slot flashing at me brightly as if to say, the key card goes in here, annoying me further.
Also if you get put on the ground floor expect noise from the tube.

Very good service from the team

Room was small but nice and the location is good for exploring the city and also if you fly to Stanstead.
3.0
The room has poor sound proof so you could hear every single move outside the room, including next door or across the hall.
The cleaners of the room is also questionable, several stains on the wall from previous guests which could be quite disturbing.

The photos don’t match the room I stayed in. The shower had zero pressure and looked like the nozzle holes could be blocked. There is no sound proofing and can hear the maids chatting from 7am. The “amenities” in the room consisted of bad smelling body wash.
Plus side they did give me an early check in

As expected, it was good enough.

Room was on lower ground - well maintained and quiet

Point A
Slick check in with good human support
As expected tiny room, I knew this on booking so fine, but NO CHAIR so the fold down shelf desk is useless.
First guy on reception says they don't do chairs, errr the sign on the wall in the room says you do and there's an empty chair hook in my room? 2nd guy says sorry and leave it with him he'll sort.
I use the time to iron my shirt - WARNING the iron in the ironing room are dirty and left a streak all across my new white shirt, £80 shirt now looks a dog. Thanks.
I had an hour to work before heading out - but no chair was forthcoming before I had to go out so I had an uncomfortable hour sat on the end of the bed.
Great location for tourists in London but if you're here for work then best avoid it.
And note to Point A – don’t advertise the rooms as having a desk when the guests can’t use it.

Great clean and comfortable Hotel with lovely beds, nice towels and the mood lighting is a great touch. The room is small but you have everything you need and it’s clean and modern. Nice buffet breakfast with delicious fruit and yoghurt, a great selection of pastries and tea and coffee. The staff are polite and helpful

Was expecting more from this hotel.
Arrived early and had forwarded my information to them for express check in they asked me what time I was arriving at... Still didn't make any effort to accommodate early arrival. But the worst part was charging £3 to store bag. It's actually £3 each bag. Before check in. And after i checked out another £3
This is scandalous. And I did say do I have to pay another £3 even though I did at check in... They didn't care less when I said I'm going to give a bad review for this crazy money grabbing experience. So I will never use them again as a result. It might be a small thing but there you go. It was good but i had a the building beam right in the centre of it so space was a bit tight

Room 55 was not very nice. The stool was missing, the bedside shelves were broken, the safe didn't work and was completely locked and could not be reset, the room work surfaces weren't very clean either

Nice comfortable hotel

The room was ridiculously small (3 sides of the bed are hard up against the wall) NO windows or fresh air makeup. The Air Conditioning did not work and on the last morning we had know hot water.

Great hotel with a good location. Rooms are small but perfectly formed! My room was comfortable & the bathroom had everything I needed. Only thing missing was a cuppa 😉 Already rebooked to stay again.

Very small and damp room, almost impossible to get the temperature right. The doublebed was not really enough for two persons. Location is the only reason why I will choose this hotel again in the future.

Hotel was basic but what we expected for a cheaper option, no complaints room wise, it was nice apart from paying for a window which is frosted over which doesn’t seem worth it, but the man who checked us in had no interest in us, we received no information about the hotel, checkout times or breakfast which most hotels give info on, he didn’t speak to us, not even to direct us to where the lifts were, I wouldn’t stay here again just because of the lack of customer service

Easy to check in and out. In a good area but near back so noise wasn't an issue. Curtains where excellent at keeping the light out. The only issue was the pillows they where small and very uncomfortable neck was sore in the morning. But would stay again if in london

Hotel great value, however bathroom door didn’t close.

Room was not ready at check in. Space is extremely tight in the room (barely had anywhere to leave my carryon size suitcase that wouldn't be a tripping hazard). Most annoyingly, there was a beeping sound coming from outside that I could hear all night long. The walls are definitely thin and do not block out noise (from outside or between rooms).

Requested a room away from lifts and fire doors, was given a room opposite the lift and directly under the main lobby so it was very noisy. Avoid room 6 if you are a light sleeper

The price was reasonable, i just didnt think the room would be so small, between my boyfriend and i our luggages were pretty much crammed into a corner, not to mention theres no closet or drawers to put your clothes in. But nonetheless the hotel is located in a great area, everything is conveniently close to you.

I great room to sleep in, but that's all. The distance from the edge of the bed to the wall is less than the length of an adult shoe, on two of three sides of the bed. The headboard takes another side. Small is small, but this is another level that should be more clearly explained. There are notes in the hotel that say if you need anything ask, but when you ask, it's not possible- no extra pillow, blanket, toiletries. Pleasant staff but don't expect more than a smile.

Very cheap, very clean place to sleep and shower. Zero frills. If you just want a decent bed and shower in the City this place works. Free continental breakfast if you sign up for their loyalty programme at the moment. Did it to grab a coffee and OJ next trip down.

No tea making facilities nor water in bedroom. Suffered damp and mould smell in room. Hall carpet in LG level uneven with Carpet missing the skirting boards. Shower nozzle leaked/ sprayed out of top. Shower leaked so bathroom floor sodden. Not a nice experience. Z hotels 10x better.

The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. They made the trip wholesome, especially the friendly lady receptionist who catered for all our needs.

Very comfy, very clean, very cheap.

It was just a basic. No windows in the room but they had a curtain on the wall, so you get the feeling of having a window. Nasty. Too small room. No change of bedding or towels was no provided during 3 nights. We have to pay 6GBP to keep our luggage until the room was available, which was extremely unwelcoming because the room wasn't available at the arrival checking time.

good size room, decent breakfast. bathroom could use maintenance, staff was impersonal

Great location and clean rooms. Bed was not that comfortable but for one night was ok!

The location is excellent, being around the corner from Spitalfields Market and a 5-minute walk from Liverpool St. Station.
The double room I stayed in was small but was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and great blackout curtains. The shower had adequate water pressure and amenities.
The staff I encountered were all very polite and pleasant.
The bad:
1. I arrived too early for the 3 PM check-in so I wanted to check my suitcase while I went to work. However, the luggage storage was full so the concierge added a tag to my suitcase and said they will hold it at the front counter in the meantime and then will transfer it into the storage when there's room. When I checked in and tried to pick up my suitcase, they brought me to the storage room but my suitcase wasn't there. The concierge (different from the one earlier) didn't seem to know what to do and had no helpful suggestions, just a shrug. As it turned out, my suitcase was still at the front counter sitting unattended and could have been picked up by anyone.
2. Instead of having an iron and ironing board in each room, there's instead an ironing room at the end of the hall. There are two heavy duty irons, neither one was working well. I instead opted to use the laundry service app called LaundryHeap.
Overall, a very good 5-day stay. I will stay there again if travelling solo. The double room might be quite tight for 2 people.

They have moved to self check-in, which while might be a choice for some i would prefer not to do it.
This is especially the case when a member of staff us seemingly standing around.

This was the worst hotel experience ever. In a very small room with no windows and no ventilation. There are no facilities in the room, not even a phone to contact the reception and you have to go downstairs every time. No one will clean your room for 3 days and you will not have a service in the form of clean towels or clean sheets. There is no kettle for boiling water or tea in the room and even in a city like London you have to bring your own umbrella. There are no utensils such as glasses or spoons and forks in the room and the size of the room is so small that there is not enough space for two people. The mattress and pillows are not hotel type at all and you will definitely face back pain. I am your gold member who has traveled to more than 45 countries and this is my worst experience among all hotels.
