8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
Reserved a standard room for several days.
Pros:
-Hotel is in a great location...it felt safe and was very convenient with a tube station, bus stop, and several shops, convenience/grocery stores, and restaurants nearby
-Hotel lobby staff were friendly and helpful
-Check in and check out processes were quick and easy
-Reasonable prices (when booked in advance)
-Room was quiet
-Air conditioning worked well and was much appreciated during the heatwave that was going on
Cons:
-Standard room was quite small
-Few TV channel options (my stays at Holiday Inn in Wales and near LHR had hundreds of channels while this one had something like 20, most of which were variations of BBC)
-Bathroom was not well ventilated and lacked counter space (I found traces of mold and mildew in the grout lines and on the door)
Neutral:
-Elevators were small but serviceable (I had to wait multiple cycles on several occasions and sometimes ended up taking the stairs instead)
