Overall, the stay was good. The air conditioning was the best part of the room along with how dark it would get. I clean Airbnb's for a living and found several things to not be up to acceptable standards. The floor was a bit dirty and several spots throughout the bathroom were unsightly, but it was acceptable to use for sleeping and a hot shower occasionally. Definitely a good deal and nicely centered, walking anywhere we needed to go was about 20 minutes away. If I was looking for something more romantic I'd find somewhere else but if you just need a safe place to crash, this is a great option.

I booked this room based on reviews and Wyndham’s reputation. It was one of the worst I’ve stayed in - certainly not worth $350/night!
1. NO WINDOWS!! Not a single exterior window. This should be made very clear upon booking
2. The room smelled terribly musty/moldy. There were even moisture stains on the bedroom mirror
3. The dead cockroach in the middle of the bathroom floor
4. They provide bathrobes and towels that have clearly seen better days
5. There is NO maid service. At all. Again, this should be expressly disclosed in listings before booking
6. The pillows were so old they were rock hard. I had to take them down to the front desk and exchange for new ones.
7. The tub is very deep, but slippery with no handhold to get out - it’s a bit hazardous, as it’s very hard to step out if you have short legs.
Needless to say, we won’t be back, do not recommend, and I will consider carefully before booking another Wyndham hotel stay

No airport shuttle or treadmill in exercise room as adverised. Breakfast area has been closed for months.

Excellent position, walking distance to French quarter but not the noise. Parking was steep at $40/day plus tax. Hotel does not have concierge. Room door has no insulation we can hear neighbor arguing and shoving doors :(

Clean room, clean building, great staff, wonderful location

Nice hotel, great location - walking distance to the French Quarter. The walls are thin though - we could hear conversations in the rooms next to us and sirens and truck noises from the street below, so it made it hard to sleep.

The hotel is very basic but clean, close to the French Quarter and the Garden district. Walking distance to the riverfront walk, Jackson square, Bourbon st, the Casino, the cruise terminal and the outlet. It was also nice being a little bit away from all the noise of the French Quarter parties.

This hotel was great for my one-night stay before boarding a cruise. It was clean and provided all of the necessities. My only complaints are that the A/C system was a bit old so our room was a bit hot, and the entry to the parking garage was steep/tight and the parking spots were small. Nothing larger than a mid-size SUV would be able to fit in this garage. Otherwise, it is only a short walk to Bourbon and Jackson Square, and a short drive to the cruise terminals.

Over priced for poor quality rooms and service. The manager Janisha Cross is rude and unprofessional. We extend our stay an additional day, had the front desk person to re- activate our keys but when we arrived to the parking garage we were unable to get it. The manager told us to walk around to the front entrance. Instead of receiving an apology for the inconvenience, Janisha vented and stated that all the staff was new and it’s been a day! Also, her attire was inappropriate as her blouse was cut in a low V shape that exposed the left and right side of her breast. Also, one of my pillows had something green on it and after removing the case I noticed yellow stains all over the pillow. Stained pillows and mattresses should be discarded! Needless to say we will not be returning.

Hotel room old & dirty. Sheets had stains. Comforter old & yellow with stains as well. Tub dirty. Towels had hair in them. Parking is terrible.

Location was good, 1 block off Canal St and a block to Bourbon street but quiet. Friendly staff and fairly clean.
One huge dislike is there are 15 rooms on each floor that dont have outside windows. There are windows that look into the main part of the hotel only. If you open the curtain people can see right in and you get no natural light. This is not listed anywhere here and you have to hope you dont get a room like that. There are also another 10 rooms on each floor that have both outside and inside facing windows which is just weird. I will not book here again and risk not getting an outside view.

The hotel is beautiful. There was no breakfast offering here. The parking was mentioned and offered as per described however didnt fit my mid size suv which was not mentioned on the description of the hotel , this meant I had to unload 4.5 days of luggage for a business convention at hotel and park down the road , the check in person didn’t know rates or anything specific about the garages I was going to have to go to. So now check out day is in a few hours and I’m trying to figure out how to get all the luggage into the vehicle that is parked elsewhere while I’ll also be in a conference till mid day. This is very inconvenient. The description that led me to this hotel is inaccurate, the hotel staff is rude and not to mention the lack of toiletries, extreme hot water or cold only one or the other . No coffee , the list goes on and on. The hotel could have been the place for rest and relaxation at the end of a long business meeting week and instead was dreadful and stressful. Causing me the worst experience here in Louisiana New Orleans.

Great hotel in a nice central location, smart lobby area, friendly and helpful staff. Room was large and clean with all the in room amenities we needed. There was no housekeeping for our 3 night stay but this was made clear to us at booking and again at check in and was not a problem for us. The front desk staff were always available and able to provide extra coffee/cups when required.

Hotel room, was clean, but there were trash bags outside of other doors waiting to be picked upl. Lobby smelled of Indian spices, as there is an Indian cafe attached. Biggest problem was Desk clerk promised us she would order us a cab for 5 am as we had to be at the airport. No cab was ever ordered, we had to wait while the morning clerk called one. Also my deposit has still not been put back in my account.

Nice hotel, felt safe.

The location was good--close to the parade route. Self-park was handy except that the parking was only accessible by stairs. There was no regular housekeeping--trash was put in the halls by occupants and then not picked up daily.

Check in time is 3:00 pm but the room was not ready until 3:30 pm. Of the two elevators, only was was available. The other was out if order

HORRIBLE VACATION
We went on a family trip and unfortunately picked this hotel. My first room was full of mold and I have two toddlers. So I came back down and was moved to a different floor in a different room that still had a faint mold smell but that was the only room that they had left that would accommodate us. Had to go down and get new sheets because the sheets had makeup all over them. Then while we were out housekeeping came in without being asked and cleaned which they are not supposed to do.
NOW IT GETS WORSE…..My sister’s room (she also has a toddler) her room had semen stains in the bed along with long strains of black hair. So she was moved and when she moved to the new room it had hair and dried snot/boogers on the pillows. It was a nightmare.
MANAGERS WERE NEVER AVAILABLE TO TALK TO OUR ENTIRE 3 DAYS.
They still haven’t called me for the problems I had gone through which they took my information and said they would

With the hotel under some remodeling it's hard to give a full review, but the staff are great and willing to answer any questions. Rooms are clean and bed are super comfy.

Few amenities, but great location! The only downside to the property is noise. People in the halls sound like they are right in your room and the street noise is a lot to deal with and try to sleep through.

Great location, close to everything in French quarter. You can hear everything going on around your room. Every door that closes sounds like its in your room and can hear every conversation in other rooms like its your room.

It was alright for a small stay but it smelled bad inside the rooms and was so dusty the floors in the lobby was filled with dirt, the staff was okay but one lady had a attitude with me and her coworker and no breakfast and the coffee machine wasn’t working. For the price we payed and the location I would’ve expected better

Everything was nice and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

My family was in town for a football game at the Superdome. The hotel is in a great location, about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Superdome, and only one block from Canal Street. The Roosevelt Hotel with beautiful Christmas lights is also right around the corner, as well as a Walgreens on the corner of Canal, just a block away, that is convenient. The location would be a great reason to stay here again! We did not have any problems with service, or check in, and the hotel is clean, though just a bit tired or dated. The hotel does offer paid parking, but the garage is below street level, and the parking is extremely tight! EXTREMELY. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again because it was clean and location location location!

My stay was overall ok. It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The lobby was beautiful. Great location. The air conditioner was not working, but maintenance came the next day and fixed it. The rooms are small. There is a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor, which was a little weird. The parking garage does not accommodate large trucks or suvs. I had to pay and park down the street.

The walls are thin room to room on the 2 nd floor. Parking is ok but not ideal. You feel safe out and about when headed to bourbon street.

Great location to the quarter but overall an average/below average hotel.

Convenient location to most of the major areas of interest. Onsite parking is limited and extremely tight, so if you drive anything larger than a mid-sized SUV, don't even think about it.

I love that it was walking distance from where I needed to be during my stay.
