We love this hotel! We were a little disappointed with housekeeping though. There were used Kleenex under the throw pillow on the loveseat. And the floor did not look like it had been swept. There were crumbs on the floor (cookies? Crackers?) other than that everything looked fine. The bathroom was very clean. We will stay again since we really do enjoy the ambiance of this hotel and location. I just think housekeeping needs addressing.

Stay was great and comfortable. Valet was super convenient. Enjoyed the short stay for nicki minaj cocnert and will stay again next time! Front desk was friendly too.

Rooms were a little quirky which only added to the charm. Might need some paint in the rooms. Hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. It's out of the way of downtown but close to the Climate Pledge Arena which is where we wanted to be. Good restaurants around the area.

Don't expect chrome and glitz...expect charm, comfort and a staff that can't be beat. I'll be back.

Nice old remodeled hotel. Wish the lounge was open. Otherwise quite nice. Reception friendly and informative.

Loved everything about my stay. From the moment you walk through the door the staff is lovely very friendly. my room was ready early. The rooms are so clean. I love the 20s aesthetic. The convenience to climate pledge Arena, which was the reason for my stay, is great, especially because there is valet parking with this hotel, so I didn’t have to worry about anything at all related to my car. There are tons of restaurant choices around just a half a block to a block away. Definitely going to be my hotel choice every time I go to a concert in Seattle

The staff was accommodating and the rooms are huge. That being said, this hotel is dark—as in haunted. Not in the sense that I saw ghosts or spirits but in the heavy vibration and sense of hopelessness that overcame me after spending only a few minutes in the room.
You might think it is fun to stay in a haunted space. This was not fun, there were no jumpscares. It was just — hard to describe and Well, awful. I checked out a night early and stayed on a friend’s couch.
If you are spiritually or psychically sensitive at all I do not recommend this hotel.
I feel bad writing this review because the staff was very kind, particularly the valets. Big plus for the hotel is that it has free valet which is awesome.

I loved the woodwork. This hotel is 106 years old... if only the walls could talk. The grand staircase was breathtaking.

Staff were all amazing! So friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time. Also, anyone who is planning on attending a game at Climate Change Arena- took us less than 5 minutes to walk there. Highly recommend!!

We always enjoy the MarQueen. It our go-to when needing to stay in Seattle. The staff is always kind and welcoming. The valet, secure parking is a great bonus. The area is walkable for food, entertainment and necessities. The Victorian ambience is so fun! Love the MarQueen!

Great old hotel that was likely apartments at one time. Awesome if you are into subway tile, tall ceilings, and built-ins. If you want modern, this is not your place. Gorgeous stairway and lobby, no elevator.

The location of this place is hard to beat if you are looking at spending time in Seattle Center. It's only a mile walk to downtown and nearby public transit options make it easy to get around town. I enjoyed the unique qualities of this hotel and feel it was a great choice as someone staying in town for several days. The kitchenette area, small lounge space and comfortable bed gave me enough space to hang out and not feel cramped. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a place with character!

When we arrived, our reservation wasn't in the system for some reason. I had booked through Hotels.com, so I simply re-booked on my phone. Yarumi was the front desk clerk and was less than pleasant. She seemed irked that we booked through a 3rd party site. We had gold status and VIP access, when I asked if there was a room upgrade available (as listed), she snapped that we had free valet, which was a separate perk. We've stayed here many times and won't be back.

The place is quite old and has poor ventilation. The smell of mold or old bones is so thick in the air all your clothes will become scented with it. Hard to be in the room with the smell. Also there are no sitting arrangements for the large room. No couch coffee table. Just an old dirty chair. And an uncomfortable kitchen area. I would not stay here again.

I recognize that it’s a historical hotel however some of the furniture appeared a fair bit worn

My friend and I stayed in Room 123 which was right next to the reception hall. It was very loud and we were woken several times by voices and especially the staff changeover.
There was a musty old smell everywhere which was a bit off-putting.

Great location, large rooms, beautiful historic building

Older property but kept up very well. Price was awesome and you could walk anywhere in downtown Seattle in a reasonable amount of time

Very old property. Bathroom wall was broken and dirty. Room smelled so strong (moist). Furniture are old (sofa leather is so torn so bad).
I paid the price of supposedly 3.5 stars for a cheap motel room.
Not a decent place for $355/ 2 nights.
I want to request (some) refund of my money,, if possible.

For the size of the room it needed more furniture. Very old and need more shelfs in the bathrom for personel hygeine stuff. Neede more plugs on the walls for phones to charge next to bed. Amd more shelf space to put our things on so we are not having to work off the floor. But i do understand it is an old building. Bed was comfortable and clean. Hotel was quiet. It was just weird.

All of the staff we encountered at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It is an historic hotel and that is clearly evident through the unique and charming features of the hotel lobby and the room. However, we had hoped that at least the plumbing had been updated. Taking a shower was tricky as the water temperature changed frequently. We can only assume it was based on other flushing toilets and showers. The water went from boiling to freezing. The room was spacious, the wood floors beautiful but very squeaky, and the kitchen was just old and run down. The location of the hotel was great for us and very walkable to restaurants and a very nice market.

Great hotel! Not at all what we expected, turned out so much better! Loved the apartment feel to it and inexpensive compared to everywhere else we saw. 10/10 recommend!

I spent two nights at this hotel with a friend, as we were attending a concert at Climate Pledge arena. We really loved this neighborhood, and how much historic charm the building, and surrounding area had, while also being within walking distance of a lot of amenities. There are some really great shops and restaurants/ cafes nearby that the front desk recommended. I booked a double queen room and had a wonderful view of the space needle from the main windows, and a really quaint breakfast nook that was great for sipping coffee and watching the rain.

So much to do in the area, a truly vintage and unique hotel stay! We loved it so much.

Very friendly service. Cute building well decorated. No elevator was a bit of a challenge with all our stuff to third floor but staff will assist you. No room service from the restaurant. Rooms are quite dated but very spacious and small kitchens with full sized fridge. Very close to Space Needle and Climate Pledge Arena.
