The room was very dusty, we could see it accumulating on surfaces. We recommend to clean in a deeper way.

The room was nice enough except there was absolutely no ventilation and the room was hot and stuffy. The snotty staff said there was a silent fan and they would turn it up, from the real hotel 1/3 of a mile away. It is insulting to be told that and know there was no air coming out of the vent. We asked for a fan and they said they didn’t have any. The air/heat and fan had been turned off and we couldn’t leave the window open because we were on the first floor and because of the bugs. We got up in the middle of the night to open the window to cool the room down. Too bad the windows didn’t open from the top for a bit of air. We were the only ones in that building which was quiet, but also eerie. There was no wifi. Again, the staff said there was and there was the Ibis name but it wouldn’t connect. If we had signed up for breakfast, we would have had to walk 1/3 of a mile back to the hotel. We finally saw a person as we were leaving. The maid was in the hall and had propped all the doors open to get some air. Expedia should not take this listing. Ibis Hotels should not be housing guests way off site. We stayed here because of the Ibis name. Never again!

The hotel itself is split between two houses. The separate part was about half a kilometer away. However, there was parking at the other location. Despite being far away the staff was helpful throughout the stay if we needed any assistance. Big downside: The Wi-Fi was absolutely terrible. We had to try to use mobile hotspot, but the building barely gave us any reception. Ended up sitting outside at a restaurant!

We got a spacious room in a building near the hotels main reception. The bed was shockingly yellow, but overall we has comfortable stay. If you’re visiting and intending to explore the city this will do just fine. Very helpful receptionist

Great check in, the women at the counter was extremely nice and helpful. room clean and good size, great bathroom and towels, nice temperature of the air conditioning.

Great location for key points of interest, single room was quite comfortable for one with double bed.

Great hotel near the centre of Parma, just be warned if you are driving there it is in the traffic free zone and has very limited parking

Clean and nice hotel, good breafast with nice coffe. Excellent location with plenty of restaurants around the corner. Busstop just outside the hotel, walking distance to the railway station

Good location - near wedding venue for us, sufficiently close to train station. Good air conditioning. Lots of pillows. Firm bed. Iron and ironing board upon request, not very hot though. Bandages upon request, showed them my injuries oops. Good snacks and lemon slushee, complimentary in lobby. Issue with shower draining at certain hours. wifi logged you out pretty/very frequently. Also, when we headed out, they got us a taxi very quickly. I rated low on comfort due to a lot of noise - sounded like they the kitchen was right outside our third floor room, constant banging (vacuum? Mop? Head?) on several walls, construction at weird hours.

The location was ok, but the facilities and service didn't correspond to a 4* hotel.

Close to downtown Parma—a nice walk from the train station along the Parma River. Room was clean, tidy and in good repair. Staff were friendly and helpful, with good restaurant recommendations! Breakfast area was tidy and well-stocked with continental breakfast choices.

Simple hotel close to nice areas of the town. Smaller room but worth the rate.

We stayed in the annex which is not close to the reception desk in the main building. There was a heat wave in Europe at that time we were there but their air conditioning is very good. My advice is if you have the chance to include breakfast with your reservation do so. We paid €8 ea for breakfast but it was well worth it. Quite a breakfast spread.

Bad welcome

To begin with, the receptionist was really unfriendly, she didn’t even say hi to us. The dependance was a bit far from the hotel and it was very hard to find our rooms, since there isn’t proper signs or anyone who is there to help you. The air conditioner stopped working which was unbearable since it was an extremely hot day. The lift broke so we had to take the emergency stairs which was quite annoying considering our room was in the top floor. We didn’t think it was good value for money at all. We would not suggest you stay here, there are many other places with the same price and better service! Apart from that, the room was nice and spacious.

We travel a lot and have high standards. We were not disappointed. Everything was in perfect order, staff wonderful and most important clean.

Good location. Very clean and well appointed.

Checking in was a bit challenging because we were put in a room further down the road. Had some difficulty finding it and the parking garage. The front desk attendant didn’t speak very good English and we didn’t speak Italian. Aside from that, all else was good!

The hotel is not clean at all and the service is not good they gave us a room 500m walkong from the reception

Nice hotel, friendly reception.We had a room in the Annex building - quite good size and in good condition. Very colourful...! A bit disappointed that for the price we paid, there are very little amenities in the room - no kettle with coffee for example, nothing in the mini bar but to be fair, that was not listed in the amenities. But for 100 euros/night I expect more than a 2for1 hair and body wash as toiletries...Also, as there is no reception at the Annex, I dont think its possible to leave your suitcase when you leave to come and pick them up later, a bit inconvenient.

Whilst some of the fixtures look a bit worn now the hotel is generally clean, friendly and comfy. Nice extra touches like free drinks and food

The staff at this hotel were extremely not helpful. I got off of a red-eye flight from Canada, then a bus, then a train ride, and checked into the main hotel. They said my room had been moved to a hotel half a km away which I had to walk with all my luggage - no support offered. I also asked a few times for clear directions and a map. I also asked suggestions on where to eat and got a vague answer that "there are restaurants around here". The day I arrived it was a holiday , which they forgot to mention, so lots of the restaurants were closed. My phone was also off the hook in my room, the room had no information on breakfast times or eating suggestions, when I asked when breakfast was they said "you need to pay for it" a few times before actually telling me when it was. Lastly, I put a sign on my door to not clean my room and they cleaned it anyway. Overall, being a jet lagged foreigner as well as a young female in a country where I don't speak the language - I certainty did not expect to have to bagger the staff for the basics in terms of hospitality.

Poor quality rooms, done up from some old hotel. Sloppy rooms No hot water kettle in rooms which is always there in Ibis hotels. Toilet has too many issues,no good
