Overall a fine stay for the weekend. Rooms are spacious and clean, as was the water park. Breakfast was very good, especially Saturday morning. Plenty to do in the nearby area. Beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and were terribly loud any time you moved at all- kept us up at night. Water park is closed Monday-Thursday, so Friday night the chemicals were unnoticeable (in a good way). However, Saturday our 5 kids (ages 5-12) could only last 2 hours at a time. They all left with rashes, sore throats, and burning eyes. Many people in the area were coughing due to the heavy chlorine smell. Overall prefer 3 bears, but would consider staying again despite the negatives if we had to.

Check in was smooth, the room was dim and didnt reflect the photos taken, the remotes didn't work and I was told to check them for batteries and to call her back when I figured out the problem. Not happy at this point, the front desk person, finally came up with new remotes for our 4 day stay. After that, the pool area was really nice, however towels were always out, chlorine gave two of us rashes, and it was hard to breathe by day 2. We will try another park.

Overall the room itself was not up to par. Found trash, wrappers tucked along the bed and behind the fridge. A dirty towel still hung on the door in the bathroom. Blood stains on the white comforters covered by the brown decorated shawl. Not seen until morning. We wont be staying here again. Mentioned it to front desk and showed pictures, with just a response of we will let housekeeping know. Feel icky thinking about it.

I enjoyed the ambiance of the property but from the minute I arrived I was told I didn't pay for my stay. I had proof that I paid in full. We decided to leave a day early and I got charged for it even though I already paid for it. The life guards were all on there phones and not watching the pool. One of them pushed my son too hard on the tube slide. He fell backwards and hit his head. The tube got stuck in the slide. He had a big bump from it. Needless to say I don't think we'll be back

We had a bad experience with a staff member who was pretty rude, he shouted the arcade is closed and then he turned off all the arcade games and the lights to the arcade room, while our kids and other guests were still playing games, had Marcus come to the rescue and he corrected our issues. Kudos to Marcus, for your exceptional customer service there.

It was a unique place to stay. There was not enough front desk help (often unattended). We needed supplies replenished as we stayed 5 days.

The ((( ONLY ))) reason I gave a 2 star rating on Staff is that the waterpark life guards 2 of them where constantly on their phones while they where supposed to be watching people in the pools. And the lack of safety in the waterpark when they let 6 big kids AND what looked to be a 3 or 4 yr old go down the big slide with them and all freely all at once, with out a tube and when they reached the bottom of the slide the big kids landed on top of the toddler trapping it under water, the child didn’t get hurt but the risk was definitely there. The parents should be held accountable for that one as well but the things the life guards let happen where unexceptionable. But other then that for ourselves we enjoyed our stay, the room was great , the facilities where awesome and all the other staff where great as well. We would recommend this place to others but would advise parents about the waterpark to always be on the watch - like we should be in the first place regardless if there are life gauards or not our kids safety is or always should be our responsibility- we will go back and fun was had by all.

Great place for families.

This is a great hotel but they could really use some help getting people checked in.

We reserved a meeting room and there wasn't sufficient staff. We waited forever for our food and the fettuccine was horrible, but they wouldn't discount it. Our family only gets together once a year and our Christmas party was ruined.

Found a couple pieces of garbage from previous guests and the beds weren’t quite as comfy as we’d hoped but the place was gorgeous and accommodated our needs. Kids had a blast at the water park.

Hotel is definitely understaffed. We waited over 2 hours for food at the hotel Baxter’s Bar and Grill. Breakfast had one employee helping, barely any pool towels available. Beautiful hotel and water park, but disappointing service.

We booked because the site said a pool and hot tub. We were looking forward to a quiet night relaxing in the hot tub. When we checked in, we found out no pool and hot tub for a couple days. We would never had made the reservation. We felt false advertising.

We had a great time a little disappointed because there weee asinine Beatles Journey room. They did give us a sheet at check in, but I think it should have been communicated before. My granddaughter has anxiety and it kept us up because she was anxious and there was some cashews under the dresser. I feel I should get reimbursed for the early check in because of the room. Everything else was great. Staff, hot breakfast in the morning , the pool. All in all a great stay.

For what you pay, it’s a little disappointing. Pretty outdated. When I checked in, they didn’t even ask for my id, which I thought was odd. Then forgot to give us wristbands for the water park. We stayed a Friday and Saturday night. Our key cards quit working Saturday so we had to get new ones. While waiting in a line at the front for new ones, there were probably 4 others with similar issues. We tried to eat at the dining area for dinner one night and we’re ignored for a good 15 minutes before we decided to leave with our kids cause they couldn’t wait anymore. The breakfast area was a disaster. All over the place, not very clean, no milk for cereal, and just very meh. For what you pay for these rooms each night, I expected better.

Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly smiles and helpful staff. My interpretation of the rooms (2)were it had a sofa sleeper because it said “sleeps 6” not the case it just had 2 queen beds but lots of floor space. The staff charged us for one cot but gave us another free of charge. All of the housekeeping staff we met in the hall were kind, friendly, and willing to assist with our needs-like when our keys didn’t work they let us in. We enjoyed our 2 night stay.

The property is definitely showing it’s age and is in need of an update. The room looks tired and not like the photos anymore. The staff who checked me in could use a bit more training. She didn’t off any information about the hotel or how to get to my room. I had to ask myself.

Stayed for the water park. Good for kids. Did find a dead bug in one of the beds, but overall good experience.

The beds and pillows were awful! Hard and uncomfortable.

Two minor issues. Woken up at 11:30PM by stomping above me I had to put earplugs in to drowned out the noise. Checked out at 4AM and had to wait 10 minutes to do so to get a receipt. I don’t get up early so I can wait on staff to try me a receipt.

My overall stay was FINE. It’s not a place I would choose to say again. The room wasn’t very clean, there was pizza sauce (I think) on the night stand, the bathroom had dirt in the corners, etc. Beds were not super comfortable. Restaurant staff was incredibly friendly, food was fine but wouldn’t eat there aside from convenience.

Love the decor, etc. of this hotel but was VERY UNSATISFIED with the cleanliness of the pool and game areas. There were bandaids by the hot tub (they are probably still there!) when we arrived on a Friday and still there on Sunday! There was a chair with a dirty towel in the game room during the same timeframe! They need to HIGHLY improve on their cleaning efforts. The positives were the beds were very comfy, the free breakfast was good (with the exeception of the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy) and MOST of the staff were very helpful and courteous. The hot tub was big and offered outdoor seating which was nice.

Dated rooms needing a refresh. No housekeeping at all during the stay and had to ask for fresh towels. Waterpark is nice.
