The rooms are very classic Italian and old fashioned, but are very clean. The AC worked well, and the balcony we had was lovely. A bit further out of the city than initially realised as Rome doesn’t seem to be the most well-connected city, but not a problem really.

Great place for a great price. 20 min walk to the colosseum and 15 min walk from the train station. Cute outdoor patio to enjoy and refreshing aperol spritz. Highly recommend.

It is more like a boutique hotel. I loved the entrance, the courtyard and the building in general. Clean and helpful staff. Breakfast was better than I expected; considerate variety. Bathroom was efficient. I loved the towels. The bed mattress could be softer. My single room was the smallest in the floor but it did the job. Walking in the neighborhood I felt safe and students everywhere rejuvenating.
